Well daywalker121800, God bless you for making it safely.

Hay, ekimusman2 this is just my opinion but, you need to clean you truck more often, though it really looks nice.

Hi broken rusty I am not sure if it would work, but here is the only ESC fan I can think of.

Hello, elpurete glad to see you to getting addicted to the fast, agile, strong, and reliable Rustler! So, what version are you getting? The XL-5 or the VXL?

I am sure you have already got this, but WELCOME to the forms!

Please specify who has been the most help helpful.

I hope I am not being nosy but, what battery and charger are you getting.

daywalker121800: queens / astoria ... Long island... i think i know some bashers around there... i'll email them... maybe we can arranger some reunion LOL!!!

warheadforever: how are you... thanks!!! second time welcome... LOL... i hope the rustler is all your saying because we dont have a lot of hobby shops around here... i know one but only old stuff.. and some nitro kyoshos or something like that... took me a long time to decide what to get... that was the first help i got from here... to know what to get... well this is what i got...
1 Rustler VXL RTR... 9 Tenergy Propel 4500... (hope this are better than the rest... ) and a smart charger for them... but i think i have made a mistake whit the charger... it will only charge them at 1.8amps... and on the AllBattery.com site they say to charge them at 6amps.. Anyone know if this charger will just take longer to charge these tenergy or it will perform less than espected.. or i definitely need another charger? so maybe i'll have to buy some other charger... like the hyperion 5iDP on 80 or 90$ range... or some other... it would be nice if it has a 9 cell capability and lipo... this hyperion charges lipo but needs a balancer that is not too expensive...(for near future uses)
so in two weeks i'll be ordering some other parts for the rustler... i have read that rpm parts are the best cost/benefits... i just read great reviews on them... so i need a small list to make my rustler better ... so I NEED HELP!!!

1- the batteries... they are very new (propel ones) so i'll test them and see how they perform... i'll post a review on them
2- CHARGER... this one[link=http://www.all-battery.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1351]Battery charger[/link]
-is it good to charge them at low rate? better performance at hight rates? more life on batteries charging them at low rates?

THANKS to all... in advance... is hard for me to return to this hobby because the lack of LHS around...

Well i can tell you one thing... the RPM parts are very reliable, and durable, aswell as well made. I would definatly reccomend them. Especially the RPM Wide Front Bumper. Also, he was talking about us bayport bashers anyways about tracks on long island, in coram, there is south shore hobbies and raceway, and in farmingdale ( I believe) there is a track called Long Island Raceway as mentioned by daywalker. Other than that, there are not many others.. or maybe none at all that are very close in this area. Good Luck with your new truck! Rustlers are AWESOME. Agile little monsters with tough as nails duarability. Hope You have fun,

Well, believe it or not, i still run my crappy 6 cell racers edge batteries with a umm... im not sure brand charger. This was my original setup and it is 2 years old. So i will be upgrading soon. If u have the money to spend i would reccomend the ener-g 7 cell packs over those tenergy's any day. Not to say the Tengery's are horrible, i would just get Ener-g cells. Those are the cells i will be getting too due to thier very good reviews. You should look into them.

Good Luck,
VXL ENCHILADA

VXL ENCHILADA :

Well they already are in their way to me... one more week... so a can't do nothing about it... so i've read that those propel ones really performe a lot diferent than the rest of the other tenergys so i'll try them to see what happends... so maybe whit more cells... like an 8 or 9 pack SXS... will perform better than those 7cell ener-g's... just thinking of it.... ener-gs have great reviews thought... i think they will be my second pack... not shure about only 7 cell... (in search of tru power...) ... so boomboom batteries here i come... but first my rmp parts....

I'll let everybody know about these propel ones...

PEACE!!!
