You guys are great!! I was on a drum forum for a while. I asked a question and they laughed at me. I was new to the brand, so I had some questions. That really ticked me off, cause i've been playing for a long time. I'm a professional damn it. You fellers are very helpful, and I appreciate it.

thank you,

maddrums

well on tower your looking for deans ultra plugs, if your making your own batteries you want to get a pack of deans female plugs(4 pack) youll also want to get some deans wet noodle wire if you havent already. get enough for your esc-motor, (and any other motors you have so that would be 1 male and 1(+) female so far, next youll want enough for your esc-battery(1 male for esc again and 1(+)female for battery)

that ok?

anyone hate it when they screw up? i caught one of my fiberglass cutting wheels on the edge of the ground as i went to pick it up and snap went my cutting wheel these things... well there goes 2 bucks....

ok well got the body posts on and all and i got the holes drilled and OMG my stock rustler body sits INSANELY low in the front im talking the bumper is less than a cm abov the top of the bumper(the part that connects to the chassis that is) ill post some pics my parents have the digital cam. now i just need to figure out how to mount the shocks since home depot doesnt sell screws as small as are in the rusty(though the largest chassis mount screws i got 6 backups from home depot cause i stripped the head on some of mine....)

Yeah thanks, I'm going to have to get a soldering iron now. I want to get a better motor anyway, and they usually don't come with connectors. When I get my ESC i'll have to figure out what motor suits me best. Is there a motor out there with really good torque, and top end? I like to have the best of both worlds. You know, like a hemi with roller rockers and nitrous

I'll check this week. We have a pole barn the next town over, where we used to build race cars. I'll see how thick it is, but I don't know if it is too flexible or not. If it will work i'll send you a peice.

A couple 1 horse towns, No big deal.[:-]
What are the demensions on your ultima? I've got someone looking for some right now if I have any, i'll have it tuesday. As far as I know you can only buy it in the big sheets. Unless you know someone who races. Maybe plexiglass at your local hardware store. Or you could get a whole sheet, cut a bunch out and sell it.

lol, i'll look into it. I wonder how good it would be to have a really flexible chassis, like a thin spring steel. Just a thought. Might be cool to have some bend to a crawler.

naw, you want a rigid chassis with a lot of clearence.... if the chassis bends then it can kink it an risk messing up your suspension
