How much will bigger tires affect speed? I know when I put the stock tires on, as opposed to the strikers the rusty seems to scoot at a much more rapid rate. So say I put on some mashers. Would that bog the rusty down alot? Or with foams increase the top end. I kind of like the looks of the mashers, but I also want the dirt hawgs, those are some of the coolest tires I have ever seen.

Bigger Tires = Faster Top Speed and lower acceleration and torque
Standard Tires = Even
Smaller Tires = More torque and lower top speed

Maddrums, if you are looking for decent tires, Run Proline Gladiators, they are bigger then standard tires but smaller then mashers and are great for ANY surface

bigger tires will also heat your motor up so you should gear it lower. the lexan i got from my dads work but Acme Plastics of S FL is where ive gotten it from before the chassis is 3/8" thick i want to make one out of blue tinted lexan to match but im not gonna bother lexans almost as big a pain as fibreglass is... nightmare chassis' are looking nice... i MIGHT get one in a few months after i get a job... light and fairly stiff from what ive red.

oh and mtr if you want a stiff chassis, you want to go with lexan this stuff has almost no twist on it and with a single bar or 2 across it vertically and horizontally will make it have almost no bend in it either...

I almost bought those on ebay for like $24.00 for four with foams. I should have got them... oh well. better luck next time. Man does rcu ever make you comp. go nuts? Mine has gone wierd on me two nights in a row, and it said its from rcu content. Let me know if anyone is experiencing the same problems.

sorry i havent posted in a while.i was outa town on a fake train robery in stettler.its suked ASS! i mean what kind of criminals ask for donations and use please and thank you.anyway im back. i cant get a ESC,they are to damn expensive.the cheapest one there is is a XL-1 for $70 or a ESC with no motor limit for $110 and the super rooster for $150.if i order off of tower for $50 it would be about $90 once converted into canadian then add $20 shipping on that adn that costs $110 total.id be better off getting the one with no motor limit.

Wicked, do you think that they sell Lexan at Home Depot? or Acrylic? If so I may go with that for my carwler chassis, It's gonna be a trapazoidal chassis base with some 4" shocks... I may just got with the stock maxx shocks or savage shocks 'till I have $100 for some piggbacks... I'll post pics when I get the materials and such.... I think I may hit hobby people too for some center diffs and shocks... and maybe a body.... what body do you guys reccomend?

dont you have the rustler tranny locked then running the 2 outshafts back and forward to the locked emaxx diffs? still not sure on how steering works on these things.....

once i figure out how steering works i might go ahead and make just a chassis,,,, then ill worry about the gearboxes and all.....
