It depends on what model rustler you have the newer one has a better servo then the old one.

Basically whenever it wears out or you decide you want a stronger (oz. torque) or faster ( 0.20 sec) one.
The difference in a stock servo and a good upgraded one is like night and day.
But cost's more....

that's because the older ones had the standard servo, and the new ones have the waterproof high-torque servo, which has like 8 more ounces of torque. and let me say the high-torque ones do make a difference in steering!

Mailman left me a little present in the mail.

FINALLY! Some REAL protection.

Gotta say, I've very impressed with the Wheelie Bar. It's bigger than I thought it was going to be. (that's what she said)

Because I have the same combination on the E-Firestorms and I saw how much of a beating they can take.

Anything that can take constant beating from 3 kids going wide open throttle intoimmovable objects is a keeper for me.

One of my kids shattered his while slamming into another T-Bone bumper going 30mph (other car was also going 30mph) and his lost.

T-Bone's replacement program is: take a picture and e-mail it and they send a replacement to the address you provide in the e-mail.

Awesome customer service.

2 x 2s 5000mAh 40c LiPo’s (4s = 16.8v fully charged), 150Amp 1/8 (1/5) scale ESC Hobby king, 4300KV 9T motor 17T Pinion 86T Spur. (edited:added) Body is a Pro-Line BullDog B44.1 body, under tray and wing set.

Custom dremeled chassis, custom front tower Jang Ultimate Rustler and wide front end mod which is RPM ERusty rear A arms modded to front.
Nitro Rustler steering and caster setup and 4tec rear casters for 1.5deg toe in and Protrac slash rear A arm for extra toe in with wide stance.
All ion all the dimensions of the Rusty is now a 1/8 scale vehicle and has the look of a buggy. If you guys have any questions about mods parts or how it is fitting together I will be taking more pics of the internal so you can see how I have fitted a HUGE ESC along with 2 battery packs. Video will be coming soon once new camera arrives. Still waiting on Parma PSE Blank Uncut Paint Mask, 8.5 x 11", Bob Dively Liquid Masking Film, 2.4 G transmitter FS-GT3B 3 channel & FS-GR3C receiver(Jangs review sold it) andTurnigy 30FPS Ultra-Mini DigiCam.

Traxxas' are awsome to mod and I have really enjoyed it thus far, alot of learning curves and no better place to start then witha Rusty. 1/8th Rims and tyres coming soon have the setup tweaked for the 17mm converters and ran some 1/8 wheels for a few weeks but rims and rubber died quickly so back to the Dirt Hawgs for the time being but they take a the punishment.

Wow can't believe I didn't provide that info soz about that.
It is a ProLine B44.1 BullDog http://prolineracing.com/bodies/bull...ar-body-b44-1/ http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...441-Body-Clear

If I was to get a new body I would beable to do an even better tighter fit but you live and learn.

@Stryker USMC
Your wife did a good thing with the bodywork. I think you are gonna see alot of boken parts on the Rusty over your kids cars just because when you crash at the speed your car moves it just pawns your parts. Keep having fun and IMO you and your wife should be up for parents of the year award.

Well done.

Thanks for the kind words Aljo. And Russell is amazing! You have taken yours to a completely different level than anything else I've seen.

Oh, and you mentioned I might BREAK something?

Time to get that Protrac system ordered!
