RE: OFFICAL PEDE THREAD
yea it shows the progress of the battery.
in the past my other duratrax batteries have all charged full (4200) but not this one
it also wasnt like a slow getting hot. it was like one minute its cool the next it is burning hot and it was sizzling. it did stop charging at 3800.

thats a battery problem no doubt then. take it back and explain what happened. keep your charger in the car just in case they need to see it.

RE: OFFICAL PEDE THREAD
yea i asked them if it wrecked my charger also and he said probable not but to bring it along also and they can make sure it isnt ruined.
well i love how my truck handles now. the suspension is very smooth and it squats right down when i accelerate. get good traction after i put those rear t maxx springs on. i didnt notice a difference in the talons switched the other way. i just did it to try but i am to lazy to switch it around.

take the 5 seconds and switch them. it will also quicken the wear backwards. trust me it will get more grip everywhere with them the right way. i doubt it hurt your charger. as long as no acid or anything got onto it it should be fine. alright yall i changed my mind again on my pede... i was going to make it a rusty to i could go fast and handle well and all, instead im lengthening and widening my truck. also i am about to start fabbing a custom, longer, wider Dark Impact ST! should be sick when im done with it

starts on page 44, and on page 45 he gives somewhat directions on how he did the build. search in the 40s and you should find everything you need, if not chances are one of us can help you.

RE: OFFICAL PEDE THREAD
look at the post above yours. that shows his build. and yes i just cant part with my pede, so i just have to make it better. and yes the revo eats tires pretty fast on asphault... but i think the pede would tear through those rear talons since they are soft and ALL the power goes to the rears. i know it actually wore my original mashers(really really hard tread) down to almost nothing...

RE: OFFICAL PEDE THREAD
yea, definately no jumps, that carbon fiber is thick but I dont want to find out what it takes to brake it, plus I only have two screws holding on the shock tower right now, 100 mph, thats a good goal, what kind of motor and speed control are you thinking of for that, I am always interested in seeing what people are running, I've had mine up to 50 mph with a descent 7 cell battery (plus the weight of a gps unit on it) and all 4 tires were ballooning, good stuff
