You think people would buy the silver can?! I got a bunch of them lying around!!

ORIGINAL: hunter306

But I do think the 19t is gonna be a real nice fit. I might just sell the Tamiya 540 Silver Can on ebay -- New in the bag. See if I can make a few bux to pay off my ridiculous ebay habit.

I do have a set of Mamba Max 7700kv coming in... (been on-order from Tower for almost 3 months!)

But I really doubt that it is going into the Egg...

I would also prefer sensored BL for the slower vehicle if I ever want to crawl a little bit..

How about this ?

Look at this... LOL --- People buy anything Tamiya on Ebay for ludicris prices: [link=http://cgi.ebay.com/Tamiya-RS-540-electric-stock-motor_W0QQitemZ170023626839QQihZ007QQcategoryZ3406 1QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem]540 Silver Can Auction[/link]

That might be miss-listed though, as it says RS-540

That's possible.. if I want to make it into a dedicated crawler... but then, if I want to do a dedicated crawler, I should probably use the TLT as a base, instead of this one!

I would think the Novak would have pretty good top speed compared to a stock silver can. I guess we don't know until somebody gives it a shot and lets us know. I would hope that it would be faster, and have more torque.

I am pretty sure the Crawler specific system is gonna be very slow and has monster torque... with very good control...

Shouldn't have sold my SS4300 =(

Would have been interesting in the F-150... But somehow I think the 19t brushed motor is gonna be right around the same speed wise.

Tommorow is the scheduled delivery date according to UPS!

I took the opportunity to prep the Novak XRS speedcontrol I'll be using with a fresh Dean's ultraplug. That way I can use my better batteries.

I'm building it as is... I live in the Urban Jungle, lol, so all I run on is smooth pavement. Usually I run on the road, sidewalk, and a few stints through the groomed lawns in my nieghborhood.

I honestly don't know why I don't just get a Touring Car. Hahah, Ah well... eventually.

Yeah, for sure, for pavement, you definitely don't want to lock the diff....

Here is the rear Dog-bones going in... And the shock tower being mounted.

I had to do just a very slight bit of sanding to loosen up the A-arms... Other than that, the fit and finish has looked EXCELLENT. As Always, I'm impressed.

Yes, I was extremely surprised when I found that sticker on the box. Tower advertises the kit as including a 3speed manual speed control.

Really made the purchase all the more sound. 130 for the setup with the ESC and the S3004 Ballbearing servo!

As for bearings, I usually buy them off of ebay, but there are no kits posted for the TA-02/01 mix chassis (Which is really impressive in person).

Here are some more pics of the build.

Looks great... the problem w/ not building with bearings to begin with is that you will need to take it apart when you got the bearings.... [:@]

Can't wait to see it run!

I locked the rear diff on my T-Egg tonight...
