LOL! I know I won't ever go back to the stock Clod steering setup so I stole that link for mounting the Willy...

Once you paint up your beer holding Willy, I will put him in the passenger side...

Looks good, now you need to find a WW2 steering wheel and glue it to his hand.

Thanks TEX! Maybe put a Willy in your heli?! (your helis are pretty big...) I know I know, you don't want the unwanted weight, but it would be sweet with Willy flying..

Yeah, I hear ya.. I do have the WW-2 steering wheel (the same part tree as the driver!).. I will see what I can do.. ha!!

That is nice eric! Tamiya should still design the drivers into their kits, especially big ones such as this one. I can see not including one with the durga or df03 lol. It's funny I'm not that big on the wild willy as a kit, but the driver is super cool! Now where is this beer holding willy that sounds pretty funny there :P

OK, LB just finished my CR-01 this evening! It has the stock silver can, Novak Rooster Crawler ESC, Futaba S9252 digital high torque servo.

I'm going to take some better pics outside when the weather breaks, right now were in the middle of a tropical storm / hurricane. [&:]

Looks great, man!! All stock setup for now?! I am thinking about taking out the front sway bar! (or at least switch to something thinner)

This is completely, bone stock, for now anyways! [8D] I've been running it in the house, it crawls just about over anything, just need to get the suspension to flex a little better though!

way to go LB!!! very nice.

Im having some trouble with torque twist on mine I took the cantilever out and now the front wheel lifts when I climb, also when I accelerate my rear left sinks anyway to fix this? already tried re positioning the shocks.

Really?! Are you running the sway bars at all?! Mine does not twist at all.. I am running the stock setup with the front springs changed to medium as the only mod..

if the sway bars are the ones that go inside the canti setup then no. because here we mostly do crawling and trails so I need some good flex.

Well, you can't have both then.. you need to pick one.. articulation or torque roll...

Well, how about trying the softest springs and adding sway bar? Should give good articulation but no torque roll.

The chassis might sag too much, but that's certainly a possibility..

I am planning on taking out the front sway.. or put in the soft one.. the torque roll comes from the rear mostly...

This kind of stuff, you just got to experiment with it, I guess!!
