Took out the front sway bar.. put it on the rear (replaced the hard sway bar, now medium)

Might put in a soft bar up front later, but for now, this is good to go..

Getting more articulation and don't see much torque roll when driving...

Ha, thanks Dante! Yeah, it is good to go, although it has not been battle tested yet! (No rock around where I live, ha!!) Oh well.. but just from some indoor running (going over random objects inside the house..!) The new found articulation seems to be a good thing.. as the car is a little bit top heavy, with the articulation, you don't tip the chassis over too much to roll over..

if the sway bars are the ones that go inside the canti setup then no. because here we mostly do crawling and trails so I need some good flex.
I see where your coming from, but i think you should put the read sway bar back in. I wanted heaps of flex at first as well, but once you run the car a bit the sway bar breaks in a bit. Now the only thing limiting the flex is the shocks. Any way flex is overrated.

One of the sway bars in the back (can't remember which one) and none in the fount. But it's still in pieces, my LHS's supplier seems very slow[:@] I also got a 15kg servo for it (5x what was in)

That's a bummer. Maybe look into nercc for some scale comps?

Hey LB, what do you think of the Mercedes Benz Unimog version of the CR-01? I kind of like it better than the Land Cruiser body one.

I think it looks pretty cool!! Mechanically, I think they are identical, though! So pick one that has the look you want!!

Well, my cash is slipping away towards the Mercedes Benz! I said before I liked the TXT-1 very much, but after seeing the CR-01 come out, I got very interested in that one.

Thinking of getting in Rock Crawling and the CR-01 is the best way to go. I like the Mercedes Benz very much. Oh yeah, Tamiya is making a Land Cruiser CR-01 RTR: http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=23657

Yeah, I don't understand.. why all these high-end RTRs?! If one is are die-hard RCer, who's willing to spend $1,000 on a RC, you figured that the person would be the type that prefer building it up him/herself..

Who knows.. I don't get it...

Well, I don't know either...but I would go with a kit, that's where I can put many goodies in it

I believe that's just the MSRP Price. It might be lowered, but still, it's gonna cost a lot, probably somewhere between 500-600.

Nah, since these high-end RTRs (the tanks, semi, 3-speeds) are exclusively available from Tamiya website directly only, that is the price... you won't find these at Tower or other dealers.. (at least not yet..)

Yeah, but I wouldn't go with those High End RC's, even though Tamiya made them. I'm gonna wait till the Mercedes Benz Unimog to hit the shops, I got a lot of rocks at my place that need to be crawled, though my Clod can crawl over them, but it takes time for it to make it to the top!

I think I have seen one that's faster.. w/ 5700kv BL setup.. (hmm.. probably not a crawler there, ha!!)

I like this one doing donuts, though!!

Even though with a brushless set-up, it's no true speed truck.

I would like to see it do donuts with the Mercedes-Benz Unimog body, it would look kind of funny!
