I am wanting to order AFP. I have got an original Realflight simulator that I haven't used for a long while. Can the controller that came with RF be used with the interface version of AFP? Thanks in advance.

Alright after 7 weeks I called and they sent me another one and I got it yesturday......and then of course it won't work now...... I installed the disc, intalled the expansion, installed the patch, then calibrated and loaded fine and when I go to FLY i get a black screen and a ERROR!!!! this is what it says......

I updated me drivers for video reinstalled everything and....NOTHING same thing again?????

Sorry to hear that Chris (Sonny). Try to uninstall it and reinstall it. Also check to see that your ports are enabled in your cmos, just a thought might not work but worth a try. You have win xp? When you uninstall it you might want to delete the registry entry for AFP so you have a clean install.

problem solved got a new video card!! Man this thing is sweet.....i know someone has posted this b4 but how do you make the smoke denser??

Go to here on your C: drive C:\Program Files\IPACS\AeroFly Professional\config and open up the Main file in notepad and you will see the information below (I just copied some not all here so you can see whet it looks like):

smoke_color_red 0.00000
smoke_color_green 1.00000
smoke_color_blue 0.00000
smoke_density 1.00000
exhaust_density 1.00000

I put the line you are looking for in bold, change the 1.00000 to 15.00000 or what ever you would like I changed mine to 25.00000 and it was way too much smoke could not see to fly try 15 and then change it from there. When you change the number then save it and close it down and thats it. It will slow your computer down some but not alot depends on how fast your computer is.

p.s to open file double click and pick select program to open from list then click ok and pick notepad to open it and then change the number. If you want you can uncheck the box that says !QUOT!Always use selected program to open this type of file!QUOT! It does not matter if you do or not will work both ways.
