Hehehehe and you guys are complaining? Ask Dion about our planes that we imported to South Africa....Try a month and a half! Only took a week to get to SA and then got stuck in customs and at the post office! [:'(]

Well ordered mine today. I didn't want to because my CC is already smoking but the guy on my shoulder made me. Downloaded all my plane and can't wait to get started. Also, can't wait until I see it running on my system. I built a gaming rig in January with a ATI 9800pro 128mb and a AMD 64 3000+. So I will be able to use this sim and enjoy the graphics to the fullest.

Have you at least tried it on that card you have? Maybe you'll get lucky.

Thanks for your purchase! I saw it come through. You've made a good choice .... you'll see why in a few days.
Personally I have a 9800 ATI card and get between 250-300 FPS. My 9700 card came in at around 175-250 FPS. Yes there is a menu for graphic details, scenery density, smoke density etc. The program supports up to 1280 x 1024.

Verticle sync makes it run at your monitors refresh rate. So if your monitor is 1280x1024@60hz it will run at 60fps.

I left Anti Aliasing off. Never messed with Anistrophic Filtering, however I'll give it a try. It runs so nice right out of the box, it never really needed any improving. The 9800 is such a sweet card.

Far Cry is just before it's time that's the problem. It gives my setup a run for the money as well.
AFP has all the eye candy that's for sure, but the real winner is the way it flies. You'll see ...

Oh and I'm itching to get my hands on that sim. I have 2 planes that will be here on mon/tuesday. I ordered a Skyraider MachII and a Hanger 9 Twist. I was starting to get the nervousness back again thinking about flying a different airplane knowing it will be faster and touchier, but that's why I decided to buy a sim. The Nexstar sim helped me out by teaching me how to fly it so I figured why not invest in something that will help me transition from a trainer. Some do it without but the sim just builds confidence. If it wasn't for the Nexstar sim, I probably would have never made it this far. Over 7 gallons of flying time, probably over 100 flights, and it's still never been wrecked(knocks on wood).

if you keep the twist on low rates, you will be fine. that is the plane im currently flying and i bought it right after my trainer. i love it, but im now considering purchasing one of OMPs 47" profiles......but which one.........hmmmm

Yeah I tried calling them once and they said they couldn't do anything unless i had a tracking number which i don't, I think I should call again and again and again.....What makes me mad is that I could have sent it by UPS International but I didn't know that it was by Phone or Email request only.... and i wastn' to worried because the first time I asked I was told about 1 week no mention untill later that it may be a month...

You can trace it on the recipients name (please excuse my spelling-I'm Afrikaans). We also had the same problem with the tracking number thing but they are able to trace it on your name. Although I wasn't sure ever if that worked. Have you phoned your local post office yet? Even with UPS i'm sure it wouldn't have helped much. Although you would have probably known that the package was sitting in customs. I would start by nagging the post office where you will be picking the package up from. Our Yaks showed on the papers that the package was lying at the post office for over two weeks. Another two or three weeks were taken up by customs. The amount of time the package actually spent on the road or travelling was minimal.
