On E-bay thay sell a flight simulator called pre-flight it works through a transmitter and goes to the microphone jack on the computer. Has any one used it? Does it require you to have batteries in your transmitter, or does it get it's power from the computer? And what do you think of the program overall
Thanks for any help you can give
Thanks, Bill

all programs that I have seen so far you need to have the transmitter turned on to run the sim. when you do either pull the antenna out to the first segement , to ceep from burning up the transmitting circuit, or pulling the crystal out of the radio. If you pull out the crystal You are not using the transmitting circuit so you will use less battery power thus youcan run the sim longer on one charge.

That has nothing to do with the Reflex but with the radio:
JR: Keep the radio turned OFF and plug in the sim cable.
Later Futabs: Same
Older Futaba: Need to be switched on.
Hitec: Need to be switched on.
Graupner: Need to be switched on.
Multiplex: Need to be switched on.
Sanwa/Airtronics: Need to be switched on.
Any sims need a signal comming from the radio. The radio is defining the rules, how it provides the signal, not the sim.
