If you don't want to respect the authors that spend days/hours creating the models and the schemes by hand, then have at it, take all you want! You're buddy knows how to do this real well.

STL...you think they appreciate when YOU troll in G3 threads? Turnabout is fair play.

U did threaten legal action (or "warned strongly") ... i can post your message to rick if you want...

Rick did not use ANY of the -digital- scheme...his scheme was a higher resultion than the AFPD one....and if you knew what you were talking about, you would know that it is impossible to copy something at a higher resolution that the original.

I too love that like half of STL's messages are edited. Compulsive stupidity i guess..have to go back and fix it after hes done.

Just remember guys, STL is the local copyright god, what he says goes...and he will bring up the thret of legal action...which is funny, because he is/was not a primary party in that deal, if there was a case at all...which there wasnt...it would have been rick and ipacs ... not STL anywhere...i guess hes just trying to boost his ego a bit.

On the topic of the thread, nice plane though, sure looks good.

Nice work STL. I like how you delete my posts pointing out that there might be problems with you copying a Great Planes liscensed model for a competitor simulator along with the fact that the Flat Out models are going to be in the next expansion pack from Great Planes. I wonder how Jim and his boys feel about this since they are the ones that spent time making this model for their sim????

Although it looks like a fine model. It might be a compy right problem with knife edge, great planes etc. That is unless you have written permission to use itI almost expect this reply to get edited or completely deleted so I will be sure to save a full copy of it for future reference.

Yup its out. Based on the CADS from the model designed by Great Planes.

Thanks to everyone that participated in creating this model so quickly. Big thanks to Pat Libby, J. David Johnson, Marc Vigod, Myself and everyone at Great Planes.

Enjoy the model!

You can get it from www.aeroflypro.com/download <--3D Aircraft

The great thing is I can have a discussion about the copying of Great Planes products on another site without it getting deleted. They claim it is off topic so they delete it. It is more like, "this guy is going to get us in trouble so we better delete all his replies".

Replies such as mine would nto even come up if Dion was not being such a pain in the rump when someone creates a similar looking model for G3. He whines and stomps his feet like some toddler in a department store. If anything STL/Dion is doing nothing but trying to hurt the simulator comunity in his attempt to make AFPD the only sim on the market.

I am a big fan of shock flyers and the Flatout style models and this looks like an OK one. Can't tell you how it flys since I only run G3 and this particular model can not be used in G3. Soon someone will build a free downloadable one for G3 and we will be good to go.

heck if some one want to send me the programing to model one for free then I will do it myself.

If i wasnt so "Stupid", id think that your trying to stall or get this thing off the topic that you put a downloadable plane in both the realflight AND the aerofly pro deluxe forum, knowing that the realflight users could not get this plane!i also think that if you are gonna post something in the realflight forum that most users like me can not get because i only have G3, is really childish[sm=punching.gif][sm=punching.gif][sm=punching.gif][sm=punching.gif][sm=punching.gif][sm=punching.gif][sm=punching.gif]

What are you talking about?? I annouce all AFPD planes in this forum and have for the last 2 years.

This forum is for everyone and it's not a RealFlight forum. The AFPD forum is a support forum and this is a discussion forum.

If you want a RCU Flatout model for G3 why are you guys coming down on my about it? Why don't you ask some of the developer to create it!!!!!!

Maybe because your scare tactics by screaming copyrights and acting like a toddler in a department store have kept people from making them.

You get upset when someone pushes you into a corner but it is no big deal if you try pushing people into corners. Unless you have signed documents that were signed by witnesses for every model you have ever created then you sir have also violated a copyright law or issue becuase the images of your models closely represent original models or real aircraft that were created by some one other then yourself.

If i read this so then i think,"Why are some G3 users so fanatic, has they something to lose?"
Are you realy to the maening that Dion take the risk from a ilegal plane download? Come on, he is not stupid !!
Othersides, if i has a simulator like Great Planes, and some like you must make advertishment in thatway as now is happend, then was that directly forbidden to you, i has not this manner of advertishment needed from you, NO THANKS, it's more destructive then helpfull.....
But that's my meaning, maybe read some one of Great Planes this........and goes thinking...........[X(]

Look evanator, i suggest you go back and read the first post, "Built using the CADS of the real plane" Or somthing like that

Dion did not break copyright in any way, cuz they used the CADS, and the CADS are owned by Great Planes. They got the CADS FROM Great Planes, therefore there was permission.

You're trying to start somthing when there is nothing to start.

Go fly G3 and calm down

Rat, you are right on, but let's put this issue to rest. STL may or may not be a big baby, but I don't think it needs to be discussed any more. I've done more than my share of it. Lets move on. If AFPD thinks it can keep the RCU Flatout off of G3, they are stupid, but I don't care anymore.

STL, plane looks great![sm=thumbup.gif]

I have missed most of the other threads and missed my chance to speak my piece on this matter. I have now spoke my piece and as long as it does not get deleted or edited out then I am done. Once it gets removed from the view of the rest of the world then I will speak it again.

Dion, You have my PM and I will stand by my word stated in that PM from now on. But like I said, If my repies here get removed then I will speak it again. Better yet is that I have screen shots of everything I have posted and some of your original comments.

But as of now I am going to take the advise of some of my multiplayer buds and leave it alone for now.

It is a nice looking model and I look forward to flying one on G3 real soon.
