If you want a RCU Flatout model for G3 why are you guys coming down on my about it? Why don't you ask some of the developer to create it!!!!!!

Maybe because your scare tactics by screaming copyrights and acting like a toddler in a department store have kept people from making them.

You get upset when someone pushes you into a corner but it is no big deal if you try pushing people into corners. Unless you have signed documents that were signed by witnesses for every model you have ever created then you sir have also violated a copyright law or issue becuase the images of your models closely represent original models or real aircraft that were created by some one other then yourself.
Rat, you are right on, but let's put this issue to rest. STL may or may not be a big baby, but I don't think it needs to be discussed any more. I've done more than my share of it. Lets move on. If AFPD thinks it can keep the RCU Flatout off of G3, they are stupid, but I don't care anymore.

STL, plane looks great![sm=thumbup.gif]
We need to get you over from the dark side.[sm=lol.gif]

So you are formally saying we can come out with a flatout model for G3 and you will not go threatening people anymore!!!!!!

Did you read this buddy? Let it out and we can show it off.

Dion gave the OK!!!!!!

You can do whatever you want. Just don't copy the DIGITAL version of the AFPD RCU Bipe trim scheme, that's all.

If you are a designer of aircraft for sims you know what I'm talking about, if you don't design planes then you don't know what I'm talking about.

Next person to try and hijack this thread will find themselves on moderated status in these forums. Somebody just made that list after being warned. Also no personal attacks, period. I'm done playing babysitter here. I have better things to do with my time then to keep a select few who have personal issues with each other from bickering. If you want to be next on the ban/mod list you know what to do. Otherwise take it offline. No other warnings will be made. No notice of any banning or moderated status will be given when applied to the account of those who failed to heed this simple warning. If you must go off topic take it into our off topic forum or email/call the person who you have a gripe with but the members here don't want to hear these personal differences aired here in public.

ON TOPIC we are in discussions with Great Planes about also bringing out a G3 version of the RCU bipe for owners of G3.

One of my buddies had one of the GP Flatana's. That thing was a twitchy peice of junk and did not fly anything like I see in that video. I'll be interested to see what you think of the real thing and how it compares to the AFPD version once you get a chance to fly it in real life STLPilot.

I've not had the chance to fly any of the GP flatout biplanes though so it might fly like much better than I've seen. The extra wing might make it a lot more stable than that flatana was. I can tell ya one thing though. If you fly a real flat-out like you do in the video you'll be fixing stress cracks after your first flight My buddy put the flatana through very mild 3d and after 2 flights there were serious stress cracks in the foam. It just feels so brittle and that landing gear setup is a joke. I recommend leaving the gear off and harrier land it.

I was not impressed with it at all. He went through 2 kits. He was flying on the upgraded Rimfire motor with the recommend lipos and speed controller.
