I'm considering buying a RFS with G2 upgrade. I have a Hitec Laser 4 radio. Has anybody built an interface cable?
does anybody know where I can get the wiring diagram for the Hitec connector
Or is there a cable available?
thanks

Cables are, of course, available. If you don't mind spending extra $$$, you can buy one, for example, from here:

You can also make it yourself (if you have PIC programmer and some PCB etching skills), but the cost of parts will be close to the cost of a complete cable.

There are several joystick interfaces available, including circuit diagrams.
Have a look on my web at http://myweb.absa.co.za/eric.brouwer. There you will find circuit diagrams, links to ready made intefaces, as well as radio connections.
