I didn't know there were any new planes. There are some color schemes though. Is that what you mean?
I too am new to RealFlight but I did figure out how to use the color schemes. I download the G3X, open it then save the included TGA picture as a DDS using Photoshop (toss out the JPG). Now place the TGA, DDS and Colorscheme in the ColorSchemes folder inside RealFlight's main folder.
I'm confident that there is an easier (right) way but my system works even though it's a little clunky (:-).

there is a tutorial that will tell you how but this is the quick and dirty way.
go to the swap pages select aircraft there you will find the aircraft section as well as color schemes.
click the aircraft you wish to down load and click the address for the plane.
A box will come up there will be 2 slots the bottom one will say G3x click it and select "all files" and save to your desktop so you can find it easyer.
close knifeedge window and open your G3.5sim.
click on "simulation"on the upper far left side and go down to "import" and click G3x there should be a pop up window with a list of your desktop programs click the plane you down loaded from KE on the desktop and there should be a prompt at the bottom of the screen saying the "import was succesfull"
then go to "aircraft" select custom and there your plane will be.
there will be a DDS prompt and the picture of your selection should appear.
I am pretty sure those are all the steps I do,I tryed to recall from memory but check the KE site just to make sure it's a sticky at the top of the swap pages.BT

Thanks for the info bigtim. I knew there must be a "right" way (:-)
I've used Photoshop to mod several of the schemes while waiting on some of the really creative types out there to start uploading. I hope that someone uploads an actual model soon, not just a color or size change.
