I have two G2 interlink tx cables with the square plugs. If I connect the 1/8' plug ends together with a coupler will this allow me to use my 9C with real flight? Thanks for any help.

Why don't you call RealFlight tech support and ask them directly?
I suspect that the problem is in G2 itself, which is not designed to support two planes on the same PC (I mean, without newtorking with another computer).

Sorry, I didn't explain well.
I am using two cables coupled together only to make a single cable which goes from tha interlink to single radio, my 9C (so that both ends have square plugs). I'm only using one radio to fly one plane, just like with the interlink controller.
I called RealFlight support and they didn't know and wouldn't say. I've checked the pinout readings with my multimeter and they are identical on both square ends with no crossover. Does the gmz4064 adapter change some pins around or is it same-pin to same-pin?
Or does something special have to be done to the 9C (I just got it and haven't had much experience) to get it to transmit through the cable?
Thanks, gm
