RE: King Motors Baja Review with pictures
Jzemaxx, I'm watching what is going on with ebay sales and from what I can tell the prices are at $600 to $750 including shipping and a waiting time of up to one month to receive the product.
All I can say right now is that prices will be competitive and the cars will arrive much faster than Ebay seller and will ship from the U.S

GORACING most people are looking for decent quality and 100% interchangeableilty with the baja b5...including diffs etc.
It would be good if they came out with a baja with the same quality as the hpi baja but a few hundred less....

[ul][*]Main drive shaft to differential bent due to so much torque after jump[*]The rear turnbuckles bend very easily[*]Clutch wears down easily (Flip it around best mod you could do)[/ul][*]Flipped and broke the spark cover and spark plug[*]Battery blew up on me
[ul][*]During charge[*]Undergoing slow good charge with Superbrain 977 (I know what I'm doing)[/ul][*]The coil lost gap[*]Dog bones suck(Pins fell out)[*]Pull start
[ul][*]Plastic Paw stripped inside the pullstart (Pull put no turn over)[*]String broke off[*]Screws on KM pull start will not fit HPI pull start (Rethread HPI pull start)[/ul][*]1/4 scale Servo
[ul][*]Hit a rock and popped it out of joint[*]Took apart and accidentally touched the motherboard[*]Replaced with Cirrus (Spell check?)[*]Only turns 70% left and 30% right[*]Will replace with good servo when I have the money[/ul][*]Broke servo saver
[ul][*]The turn buckle between the actual saver and servo horn stripped and popped out[/ul][*]In order to fix a KM differential you have to do a complete switch with a HPI
[ul][*]Cannot use parts from HPI differential and put on KM differential[/ul][*]High response clutch springs will not fit the KM clutch[*]Shocks are crap
[ul][*]Uses some sort of thin liquid as shock oil instead of silicone[*]Shock shafts bend[*]They leak they need O-rings.[*]Overall they are crap and need to be rebuilt out of the box.[/ul]
Normal stuff:[*]Broke bumper[*]Broke front shock tower[*]Broke front bottom A-arm[*]Broke the flywheel cover holder that attaches to rear.
[ul][*]Twisted it then snap (User error)[/ul][*]Cracked rear hub
[ul][*]Allows wiggle with the toe[/ul][*]Lost pin connecting dog bones to the Hex hub.
Hop-Ups:[*]DDM rear dominator
[ul][*]Burned roll cage (Was not installed properly)[/ul][*]Spark Plug Wire (MSD)
[ul][*]Great heavy duty[*]Will need to bend spark cover (Warm it then bend it)[/ul][*]Proline Badlands
[ul][*]Went on perfectly no problems[/ul][*]Anything that was broken was replaced by stock HPI stuff unless was upgraded.

RE: King Motors Baja Review with pictures
Just came back from off-roading. No bad crashes. I ended up rolling it about 7-8 times in just one flip. The turnbuckle popped out and broke the wing pin. Second time this happened (turnbuckle popping out). They should have put a bolt at the end so it won't fall out like it does....
I lied? Lol. I will never stop hooking it up. Thats the part of this hobby I hate. It's never good enough for you.

But by the looks it is a KMS car, they just buy from them at like a wholesale price and re-sell
DZY engines are made by Shen Qi who make the Bigfoot copies, my experience they are not verygood!!!!

Did you run your buggy with the Darksoul head kit yet? I am thinking of getting one for a Rampage if the power is much better than the 23cc engine.
