Looking good, did you deanodise the shock parts and chassis yourself?

LOL looks just like a real baja, hahahah, pity its not, hahaha, kiddin, anyways looks pretty neat for a clone, l wouldnt buy one, because they will NOT be as good a quallity in the plastic's, this is china were talking about, american plastic v's chineese plastic, there is no comp there its a total no brainer, the americans have the BEST plastic PATENCIES in the world, and the better quallity standards in production as well , but hell, you get what you pay for, the Japoneese are decades ahead of the chineese in plastic research and development, the chineese out produce us all put together, but with inferior types of plastic's, china needs another 20 years to really catch up, and get the FACTORIES producing better quallity plastic's, because there are very few, full on high quallity plants in china at this time.
Get the original, and support YOUR local econemy, to the guy who posted all the pic's, well done, gave everyone a very clear idea of how well that baja was cloned, and they seem to have done a good job, short of the plastic's at a guess.

Well just an update:

I received my A-Arms went on with out a charm. I noticed that the KM A-Arms has kinda a gloss on it while the HPI did not. Don't know if that means anything.

Going to take it out to BMX track tuesday. Will take videos.

That looks pretty cool.

Well today I was just driving it around and I jumped it off a fill landed while the throttle was applied and it stripped the spur. Also the pull start ripped but I rubbed it against the body so it started to tear so that is user error. The spur however is questionable. Anyone know where I can get a cheap spur gear and pull start?

Someone had mentioned that King Motors was going to sell an SS version of their 5B clone. Does anyone know when it will be available?

Mid June from my informant. Will be RTR though (Radio)
Also coming out with yet another Marder clone.

It will be EXACTLY like the HPI ss kit. Bags instructions and all.

"I jumped it off a fill landed while the throttle was applied and it stripped the spur" What's the spur? And how were you supposed to drive it to avoid such damage?

The spur gear is the gear that interlinks with the clutch. What may have happened is the engine moved there for the mesh was wrong. Happens ALL the time with my T-Maxx

If you can buy thier RTR for $410 plus shipping....I wouldn't doubt the SS version will be the same price or less

I can see the moral stand point on this, but since this is so cheap for a gasser, I couldnt refuse. And being 17 I couldnt even think of spending 1k on a rc car. Plus my parents would not be very happy either.[:@]
