He's my awsome 1/4 scale buggy. I only spent $250 for everything including the motor and radio gear. Tires are 8" tall with a 1.5 hp motor and weight 25 lbs. not including roll cage.

Hi Giorgos! How are you,and your hand?Long time,no see!Did you pay anything for the wheels,or did he sent them for free?I remember you asked for the size of rims and tires for FG,and i thought you was going to order some. But you dont want to use these then?Looking forward to new updates[8D]

Hey Lars!!!What's up??How are things going??Nice to hear from you again!Me,i'm alittle pissed because he made a mistake and sent me only half the things i have order...My hand is getting better, but still can't hold anything with very tight.I can't screw or unscrew a bolt for instance...
Oh,i have paid for the wheels, but not that design[:@].I don't know where they came from but i have already paid them[]...Maybe with a little dremel work and some black metallic paint would look nice...We'll see

Im fine!Have been working a bit on my own homemade car lately, updates and pics to come soon.Nice to hear that your hand is getting better.
So you are thinking about removing the little spokes in the rims,am i right?Maybe you can return them to where you bought them and get another set instead. Its not my favourite design on the rims,i dont like 6 spokes for some reasonBut they will look better if you remove the small spokes.
Where did you order btw? What did you order, and what did you actually get?

Yep,you stand correct!I'm thinking of removing the little spokes...I'll do it first on my pc and if i like the result i will proceed to the real deal...
There is no way i'm sending those back!I'm already waiting for those parts 4 weeks, and when all my parts, help God,arrives,i'm through with him! It's been a nightmare.Anyway,i don't want to say the name of the shop,i am not a bad person...Don't want to destroy the reputation of him or whatever[&:]
I paid, but not got 20t gear,40t gear, gearplate, gearplate spacers,700cc tank and some other little washers.Probably i'm forgetting something, but those things are important for me to get on with the project[:@]....I guess the only think i can do is wait...He haven't even answered to me when i told him he sent the wrong parts[X(]

Naynay,i wont use a diff...I'm going with a solid axle, much better for drifting. The connection will be like this:20T motor gear to 40T gear, then on the axle the 40T will be on,there will be another 11T gear going to the 27T gear on the solid axle.If i cant connect the 11T to the 27T due to distance,i'll do it by sprocket and chain.I don't want to move the engine to much to the back, because i'm trying to maintain a 50/50 weight distribution.
Billz,i decided to keep the wheels...As you can see,i already converted one to 6 spoke design

RE: Just started a homemade rc car!Need Help
Thanx Lars!!!I still have one more for painting and 2 more for cutting, brushing and painting[]
The sprocket is from my mad force...I also have one that's even smaller.25T 20mm or 25mm diameter i can't remember...I can't even remember where it is.But i don't worry about sprockets and sizes,i'm set on those.Bike sprockets are too big...Take a look at robot designs,i'm sure they will be interested

RE: Just started a homemade rc car!Need Help
Before i got internet it was only bike sprockets for me,i didnt knew betterAs you can see on my project i have used some sprockets from a motorbike, the chains from bikes and motorbikes have the same length in the chainlinks (is that the name on it?),but the sprockets have different widths so i had to mill it down to 3 mm width from about 6-7 mm.It would have been too heavy putting on a chain for a motorbike

RE: Just started a homemade rc car!Need Help
I need a little heads up guys...How many cms must the engine sit in the chassis so that when the gear carrier goes on,the secondary gear doesn't touch the chassis itself?
I don't know if you understand me.If not tell me to explain better
