RE: 91 inch dragster
It's not tiny at all its actually a full 16oz bottle refillable bottle and it was shipped without any problem from the UK to me in the USA.
You can take the bottle to any high performance car shop and they will refill it, NOS is pretty cheap.

RE: 91 inch dragster
have you seen the turbine jet car on you tube. I think it 1/5 scale but thats an idea for a motor. How about the 30cc baja motor, thats what I would try to fit in there if I had half the skill you do to build some thing like that.

No, I haven't had a chance to spend one minute on it lately...
As I mentioned before, there will be a Titanium pipe coming from my friends at the Airbase....
Not even any progress on the bodyshell either.
Pinnochio is starting to sound like a theme for the body shell for yours...or Viagra???

Looking at the size of frame you have there.... I wonder?
How heavy is it now?
I know the Rotax 125cc water cooled job is around 10kg, but for all that extra weight you'll get somewhere around 17-19 BHP. Not bad for a 20 kg car?
I have a 100 cc Yamaha Kart motor, but what's stopping me is the lack of a clutch. The guys in the Midget club went from Yamaha to Rotax, so waiting for others to join the field in the speedway would't cause fouled plugs, and no more push starts.
Also going to Rotax negated the need to drive with one hand on the steering wheel ,the other hand on a mixture screw on the Yamaha engine. a real pain in the rear, when you're first out waiting for the rest of the field to get onto the track, your midget is fouling up, as the lights turn green, you flare out! Not fair.
Rotax was a great transition, as they had battery start, water cooling, and a clutch.
just a thought
PS
I bet the young fella is enjoying what you're doing?

How are you going to attack the front wheels and steering? Can you remove the body panels?
