Well, at least with Redcat, they come with the proven CY engines (real CY engines, not cloned engines).

Yep, typical EngageRC exploits RCU by creating these threads with the ulterior motive of advertising.

Still not understanding why we allow these out right Chinese thief's to post there totally stolen design, re-made into crap and sold here in the states, to post on these sites that are sponsored someway by the original manufactures.
I'm not pointing out anyone specific, but really, come on with this total garbage that after 2 or 3 tanks starts to disappear.
Yes, the cheap prices are great for expanding the large scale hobby to everyone at different levels, but if you sell a stolen design only to make it as cheap as possible, the only one that is going to get hurt is the consumer.
Frustrated, upset and pissed off about this crap large scale china rip off, only to lose him from the large scale hobby, never to return again...
That's my problem with the totally stolen, cheaply made products entering the market daily.

There are a few Manufactures like Smartech and some others that are worth looking into, because, yes they may also be based on an original design, but the re-made quality is up to par.
This leaving the consumer with a good product, a proven RC at an affordable price.

I'm sorry, but I don't know what got over me![:@]

I too feel that too much of the 1/5 and 1/6 side is being taken over by this sort of stuff.

if it's a redcat then it's not a clone, only parts on a cat that interchange with anything are the a,b,c,d gears and dogbones with MCD and that's it, like the titan it is an original design unlike fs and km etc. it might look similar to an mcd but how many different setups can you get. redcat are also releasing what looks to be a 5b clone but it uses all redcat parts and is longer and wider....not one part is the same as 5b but it looks the same as a 5b.
