RE: C-ARF Ultra Flash build Thread + Video
With 8411's are guys using the best mechanical advantage (closest to hub hole on servo arm -to- furthest to edge hole on control horn, which I think I'd have to widen the factory openings in the servo cover to achieve) or are guys having success using any hole on the heavy duty servo arms, because of the good servo torque?
Thanks

End of a mad day, I had to use the box from this UF for another jet going out so I have taped it together.
Also picture of thread starter elevator set up. Long leverage on each end your fine.

Is that UF seamless? I talked to a rep and was told that seams are NOT being finished on the new models and CARF has never done any painting on these outside the mold...I was hoping the new ones were seamless, I was thinking about picking up one of the new schemes to build

Yes.
They have always done some outside painting, how else would in inlets work I guess they just added another step...
Most of the new models have the top seam painted, not got my new scheme model yet, but I'm expecting it to be the same...

Doesn't do it for me, but customer ordered it. When I test fly it for him, I'll see how it shows up!

Btw, where did you get that nice field box with a support on it? Is it custom made, or available for sale somewhere?

They should have been by now, but I guess we are still reducing stock on the existing schemes, as Paul says we are selling the new Schemes, I have quite a few already on order with CARF, deal with your favourite rep and they can sort the order directly with CARF. There are two containers already left the factory for Europe which have some new scheme models in (though they are all pre sold in Europe )
We are lucky in direct shipping is only a little more expensive and much quicker so I have three UF's coming this way already.
I'm not sure on the US situation, its Ray's baby over there and he should be able to fill you in.
So far two of the schemes are proving most popular, I didn't expect the Swiss scheme to sell so well[8D]
Paul, yes, thank you again. Will talk in Am once I've finished organising the time scale your pink baby!

I have a T-Bird scheme on order for a local guy too and another enquiry on one last Friday (though he's torn on the Swiss!!) So...guess so, Swiss is a little bare for me!
Anyway, CARF have asked me to stop selling UF models Seems production wants a change, luckily looks like ViperJets are next

Need to ask again, the camo we came up with was very difficult to paint (backwards) in the mould. Boss man was going to have another try as technique is everything!!

I guess so...I really like the Magenta, but I've already sold two of those, so the Orange is my next fav!
May ask about a green version too I think the new scheme will work well with most colours

Any chance you have some pictures from the side of the yellow or magenta scheme? Andy Kane has been trying to get me some but we are having email issues. Also Andy says new schemes are expected in the US +/- May. I am just trying to decide between yellow or magenta.
Thanks,
Jeremy
