I think they only left it up because they wanted to show the schemes....

Tried to maiden today but the weather wasn’t cooperative. She’s done though! Does anyone with electrons have pictures of how they ran their brake wire? Mine is getting pinched.

The rear temp shielding isn’t needed I’ve had very low temps transferred to the tail plane and fin and that’s operating in 40 C temperatures 400 plus flights.

Default 7 years & 300 flights

After 7 years and more than 300 flights it's time to strip & repaint the ultra flash.
original scheme in 2013 right before the maiden flight

photos of it being stripped & repainted early 2020.

I think that has to be one of the best combinations I’ve seen for a while.

Thanks.
Here's a quick little teaser video of it's first flight after repaint. HEAVY crosswinds as you'll see on landing. And before anyone asks, no, I don't use gyros.
currently powered with a Jet Central Cheetah 160 but that's being upgraded this winter.

Hey Garret, that Airport looks familiar
You must have come to Titusville the weekend I was camping.
You will like the runway now, all of the cracks have been repaired, and the entire runway will be resurfaced this coming spring hopefully before the jet meet.

I'm currently redoing a Classic Flash and I will do the Art Scholl tribute scheme.

Decided it was time to get my JetCat serviced after 34hours perfect operation. Also added a new pump ( actually the second one in its life) so everything starts fresh. Check start and run was perfect and I could clear some leaves from outside the office 😁

For electric brakes I have seen this in action and it works well:

What radio are you using?
Depending on the transmitter, there is another way to set up your steering that will give my h better control on the ground.
