I agree with you, Xairflyer.. I really like to format of RCU, so much so, that I rarely am on RCG or FG, mainly beacuse of the format here makes it easy to find what you are looking for..

Have had little to no issues up in Canada. Only the odd time the site times out, but after a few tries it seems to start working fine again.

No big issues here in Spain, sometimes it take a bit more to load a page than usual, but similar to other sites. But what I have noticed when using Internet Explorer, either IE8 or IE9, in different computers and different ISP, is that if you open several pages at time in different tabs of the browser, sometimes RCU hang and don't open any page, like server is down. At same time and same computer, opening same pages with Chrome, all pages open normally, while IE8 /IE9 keep telling "server not responding".
It seems that there is a incompatibility of RCU with IE browser. Not sure if this is what you are experiencing, you may try with chrome.

ITs been this way for sometime now. I try to browse the ads.......but there are times I just throw my hands up and head back to the shop. Very frustrating for a site that is very useful. Is anyone (that can make a difference) gonna actually see this thread and react to it ?

I'm using Chrome right at the moment and sometimes it works well, other times not so well. I did however notice that in the event it takes it's sweet time trying to load, I'll go to change pages to another RC site and poof........the page loads quickly.
How does it know?

RCU was bought out last November and the servers were moved from OH to CA... new owners dont seem concerned with performance or upgrading anytime soon.

They're making progress. The problem is nobody can see all the work they have done the past 8-12 months and only experience the problems. However, their work WILL pay off in speed and stability as they clean up the code. It's a process that was long over due, new owners or not. It's jut finally getting done.

Hey, Nathan. When do you think this will all get sorted out. I'm not too keen on buying advertising on a website as unreliable as this. Regards, John R.

Specifically, I cannot say. As they complete transition and code repairs from the acquisition, they bring on CF programmers and people from their vB team to focus solely on RCU and its stability. For the guys that do this type of stuff for a living, they know it's easy to fix one thing as 6 other things break. What I do know is they continue to work through the code to make it more stable. And for all our sakes (I use this site a lot through out the day), I hope they get it sorted sooner than later.
