Hi Eddie

The wing wobble looks worse than it is, the Guardian actually has a built in dial back function that automaticly dials back the gain when that happens not a really big deal. You just test till it wobbles then turn it back a bit.

Youre welcome Happy Thanksgiving!

I have a question for those of you using a gyro to help ground handling/ strait tracking...
Do you hook up the gyro on the rudder or on the nose wheel?
I guess on our jets, rudder gets efficient at higher speeds, while the nose wheel remains efficient at all speeds.
As soon as airborne, the gyro on nose wheel is useless of course. Then how does this eagle tree unit behave?
Would you need gyros on rudder AND nose wheel? sounds like a bit overkill to me...

I just reviewed the Eagle Tree for Fly RC magazine and was fairly impressed.

I wish it supported both dual elevators and dual ailerons and in 2D mode it felt like it was fighting the sticks a little bit despite a lot of twiddling to get the feel I liked.

But it worked very well damping wind inputs and would do a hands off hover of the 3D Hobby Shop EBT I was flying it in. I doubtless sold a few just among the onlookers the day I was testing.

Need some programming help. Trying to setup a DX8 transmitter with the Eagle Tree Guardian 2d/3d. Would like to have the Flap/Gyro switch set up as 2d/off/3d. Currently all my controlls work as directed with stick movement. Aileron (2 servos), Elevator, Rudder all move in the correct direction. When I move to 2d and raise the tail the elevator moves up. Right and left move the rudder in the correct direction for correction. Aileron is a different issue. In 2d mode, stick movement moves the Ailerons in the correct direction. However, If I roll the model left or right, both ailerons move in the same direction. Either both move up or both move down. How in the world do I correct this?
