Thanx Dave! hehe yes im sure it will..not decided on what to do though..I have some ali tape that will have a go with 1st..ive tested the glue with a propane welders torch and it hold up really well..only burns with direct flame contact,
But in saying that I will have to do some full thottle burns and see what the results are on the deck...but there is no cool air being mixed with the hot air that way so, I need to also check what diameter air vortex gets chucked out the back of this turbine at that distance, the inner cone should focus the airflow a little better than the P60SE that doesnt have one at all..My PST600R motor had an inner nozzle ring and that kept the airjet really tight..

I have a Wren 44Gold on my Blanik.
I started the year with a RedBull can cut and secured to the leading edge of the stab.
Eventually it got damaged and I removed it, since then I have many flights with only a strip of aluminum tape on the leading edge of stab.
The only wear I see is on the rudder itself, the more you use the rudder the more it requires tightening.
Richard.

On our P-60 models we only have tape and it's fine, but the P-100 has a slightly higher exhaust gas velocity and a great mass flow.

one the film is super heated once the adhesive is done, I ironed mine down fully from new and it's stayed tight.

one of two /vt80 powered) suffered flutter on dx stab with destruction of stab
safe landing , full control with only one stab

but very nice performance , slow landing with 40° flap

my blanik use DS657 6kg 6v and not problem
my friend blanik (stab flutter suffered) use construction manual blanik indication,..... in my opinion too little servo

the mobile stab suffered flutter during knife edge pass... servo gear broke...then big flutter destroy fix part of stab

in my blanik i changed servo flap configuration mount and linkage.....when turn down the rx the flap stay up....
no force on servo flap when flap is in up position

cool at least good to see you didnt MELT your vertical stab with the 18lb thrust v80 hehe, mine is only 2lb more thrust so will be the same performance as yours...do you have any Vid?I plan on using a heat resistant plastic paint good for 650 degrees.also would you share a photo of your flap servo install as im interested in how you did that as its a very good idea please? Thanx
cheers

with vt-80 (much air flow) the orizontal mobile stab must to be protect also mobile tail part
with 60n only vertical tail must to be protect

Default GOPRO on wing

Congrats on the plane Jet Junky, nice build.
I have well over 75 flights with mine and it's a great flyer! Mine has show some cracking on fuse, I think it's all the nose weight up front causing it to be stressed at 90 degree bend at back of canopy.
This was a flight I did with the camera on wing. http://youtu.be/YrQ4PoTTEcA

Here are some photos, your suspension may eliminate the need for this reinforcement, but it's not a heavy mod.
