Ripmax Xcalibur Sports jet

Looking at all the photos and favourable comments about the Xcalibur one has to give Ripmax credit. They have moved into the jet market admirably, first with the lovely Hunter which is well presented and as big jets go very good value for money, and now this, again well priced with nice retracts etc and the design/quality seems first class and I know they will do well with it. Top marks to Ripmax!.
Mike. Yes, you will do very well in North America with this, its hit the spot at a good time.

Nice Paul! I´m getting mine on wednesday, can´t wait!
Dave. In the manual it says mini servos for rudders. For me it looks more like standard. What type of servos does the demo model have?

The retracts are very nice units, good centering on the nose leg, they are also very smooth to operate by hand cant see having any problems with these.

I'll be doing my lines tonight, post some pics later.
You put a hole in the well near the nipple and feed line through then put gear back in.
The brake line will go down the leg and gave a sort of loop so it does not pull when gear down, you will see from the pics .

Lines in one leg done, one hole inside, larger hole outside for break line and ram line.
The brake discs look good too, I'll see how strong they are before putting grease in the hubs.

I have never seen the point in huge air intakes/ducting in a turbine model. They seem to take up quite a lot of useful room. Would it be easy/feasible to cut them out and remove them ?

The efficiency that allows a P-60 to power it comes in-part from the inlet design.
I'm told by Dave the inlet size allows for the range of turbines intended for the Xcalibur. You can butcher yours as you like.
