Shipping to us is on time.
I have updated the web site with user manual 1.3.

Man Gary, I am going to need a week to get over the Crawfish and Cobbler hangover I have from Mississippi Afterburner! Yours is boxed and waiting for the FedEx man.
Thanks for the order!

pulled the trigger on one and the throw indicators, this will hopefully take the guess work out of my f-14 CG. If anything it will make life easier since hanging the the jet was going to be a pain and my turbine bay doors only open so far so I hope its as good and easy as folks say.

Is the version 1.3 software available? I dnlded the .bin file you show as the latest version but its still 1.1 when I load it onto the CG machine.
Thanks,
Len

The CG machine works perfectly with software version 1.1.... Firmware 1.3 is available but it's for when you want to use the "angle sensors". I'm sure Oli will post firmware 1.3 on his site shortly...

The reason for this is that it is the exact same firmware as 1.1 with just the angle sensor functionality added.
So 1.1 is the latest version for the normal CG machine and 1.3 is the latest version for the CG machine plus angle sensor.
We do not recommend upgrading to 1.3 if you do not have the angle sensors as there is always a risk of system corruption if the process does not go as expected.
Note that in some cases, an incomplete firmware update could render the machine un-useable.

Hi Oli, David,
I have ordered the Angle sensor upgrade (from you by the way order #1083) and was just going to dnld the software in advance of receiving them. I upgraded the unit from 1.0 to 1.1 without a hitch, but I do agree flashing the eeprom is a mildly hazardous affair. I likely won't install 1.3 until I have the sensors here. By the way, I love the 3D printed cones for the CG machine! The unit was a big hit at the local club's 'show and tell' the other night! Any hint as to when the sensors might ship?
Thanks again for all you do!

Woody is just back from Mississippi Afterburner.
The angle sensor kit is packed and ready to go to you. It will go today or tomorrow...

Len... you will really like the Angle Sensors... Keep in mind that one of the three sensors needs to be on a level surface in relative to the flight surfaces being measured. Also try to have the indicator line on the sensor as close to the hinge line of the moving surface as possible.
Enjoy...

Did you see that Pelican case a guy over on the other CG machine thread posted? Pelican 1170 IIRC. Anyway the price tag was reasonable and I thought perhaps if anyone was interested you guys might offer them as an option?

I tried to post this yesterday and the thread was gone, when I tried to link to it from an email notice it said I didn't have permission to see the thread. Anybody know what went on?
