An integral Assistant is also available for setting up the door sequencer. Any modeller who knows how tiresome the adjustment procedure can be with conventional door sequencers will be surprised how quick it can be to set up a retract system including four wheel doors; it takes just a few minutes.

Says 4 doors

Yes, all SRS PB's are Xbus

What about the models with no doors. Bring a powerbox product combined with gyro and servo matching. keep it simple. Lots of models without doors out there. Why pay for a product with features not warranted.

I think you completely miss the point. The doors are a bonus feature, you could have without the door programming and it would cost the same.
Its an Evolution with iGyro inside, super neat and compact. Perfect.
Lots of people buy things to move onto another model, so this has the features to move on with a more demanding airframe. Its a winner everyway...

Its a small simpler version, you can use 2 x S Bus Rx's :-)

Showed up yesterday. It's compact for sure. Great for smaller planes. Standard size servo to right.

I purchased a Mercury to install in a Turbo Raven. The ability of the Mercury to drive 2 servo aileron surfaces with the internal gyro was the primary factor.
I was a bit disappointed (my fault, I should have read first, then buy) that this unit does NOT measure/display battery capacity; just voltage. I found this out in the PB forum.
No big deal, just have to add a pair of MUI sensors and I'll have capacity again.

2 Jeti R3SW receivers.
One of the two will use the EXT port for all Jeti telemetry devices (MBAR, MUI, MSpeed, etc .. use Expander as needed depending on devices)
The other will use the EXT port to connect to the Mercury TELE port.
It should work just fine according to Powerbox.

Super interested in this!

A few questions:
1) Does JETI servo balancing play well with this?
2) If dual elevators are stabilized, will it support their switchable use as tailerons as well?
3) If I have 2 rudders and a nose wheel, will it support
A) both rudders on one stabilized channel with separate end points for each servo
B) Nose wheel on another stabilized channel with its own gain and maybe even its on mode (HH)?
C) Allow the rudders to be splayed out for drag?
4) Is configuration through the blue thing with an iPhone robust?
5) Is GPS data passed to TX via telemetry stream?

Trying to decide between this and the CB200 with the yet-to-be-released Cortex Pro. So many unknowns!

I have one with the gps to go into my new build.Have not used it yet but I did notice if your running a 7.4 volt system all servos half to be 7.4 volts.Theres no channels you can regulate down to 5.9 volts its one or the other.

Uh huh! have you looked at how compact this is for a 3 axis gyro 15 assignable output unit? Where are they going to put more regulators?
You can use most 7.4v servos at 5.9v...they will last longer and 'beat' on the linkages and surfaces less!

### sure, why should it not? You can either use the Jeti servo balancing feature OR the PowerBox servo match function OR a combination of both for different channels

### The PB has a delta mixer that can be activated to support tailerons, but that function is not switchable from the TX. If you'd be using a mix in your TX, the stabilisation might not work properly.

3) If I have 2 rudders and a nose wheel, will it support

### yes

B) Nose wheel on another stabilized channel with its own gain and maybe even its on mode (HH)?
### the Mercury supports freely assignable channels and servo matching for all 15 channels. So if you use the built-in servo match function for both rudder servos and assign these to the gyro's RUDDER A output and assign the nosewheel to RUDDER B, this should work fine. This way you could have two different gain settings for both rudder outputs and even activate HH for the nosewheel.

C) Allow the rudders to be splayed out for drag?
### that's a mix in the radio that has nothing to do with the PB

4) Is configuration through the blue thing with an iPhone robust?
### the PB Mercury does not yet support Bluetooth configuration. This is not necessary anyway because it has a display. The Bluetooth option is meant for devices like the smaller iGyros or GPS II that do not have a display

5) Is GPS data passed to TX via telemetry stream?
### no, this function is only available with the bigger PB Royal

You are right, you will have to decide between 7.4 or 5.9 Volts. Only the bigger PB Royal has 4 built-in regulators so that you can mix HV servos with standard servos. But Dave is spot on with his comment, for jet applications the torque of modern HV servos is high enough even at 5.9 Volts and they will last longer.

Or, you can use 6.6 volt batteries like the A123 packs that are going into the two turbines I have which will get the new Mercury PE's.

Anybody 'wanna buy a NIB Royal SRS????
