Yep, had the same issue. I replace the provided ball links with DuBro 4-40 ball links. Fit perfectly.

This probably happened because the prototype I got the links where really bad and I recommended changing them to better quality. They probably didn't match it all up when they switched. I would highly recommend doing as others did and use some dubros.

I got an early kit and my hardware is excellent...can't say that about the pipe though....lol.
Going forward...Pacific jets may be wise to either check every shipment that they receive OR say nay to the
Chinese company wanting to supply hardware with kits. It just gets really frustrating and cheapens what really is an excellent product.

For those that received the ball links that do not fit the push rods, note that the push rods are metric (M3 thread) but they do fit 4-40 ball links. It's a bit tight, but they will cut their own threads when installed.

For those of you still putting together your bird. Check all the bolts that attach the spar clamps ( rudder, elevator and wings ) to the formers. Almost all of mine were only finger tight and none had any locking compound on the threads. If you have already built your bird I would strongly urge you to check the clamping block tightness against the formers before your next flight.

I think I put locktite on mine. The forward wing clamps are not accessible to put any locktite on them!
But yes it's a good idea the always check that stuff!

I moved my CG back to 235 and it flies great. Landing was at 40mph and I held the flare untill she settled in nice and smooth. I think 235-240 are the sweet spots. I can still move the ECU bat back a bit and my do so slowly. This jet flies better with the rear CG setting.

So does anyone know the top speed of this bird? I'm looking at this as my second jet. I will have a long wait ahead of me, have to buy everything for it. Looking to put a 140 or 160 sized turbine in it (want the entire speed envelop).

So fare coming out of a turn, not a dive in level flight my top speed is 170 with a K120.

Well if the 1 flies that good the 3 should fly better... now let's get the One's out before we get caught up with the 3. I'm going on 4 months and getting anxious, but at the same time glad they aren't rushing them out the door after getting a pile of crap Boomerang.

Even better. I kinda knew that I wouldn't hear of any of them pushing 250+ mph but I was hoping they could (just make it more attractive overall). But this type of airframe is not set for speed, just sport flying. Which is what I plan to do anyway. Just have to remember that I cannot chase any of the Flash's around here.
