Skymaster Cougar (small) from https://www.pacificrcjet.com/
Picked up this small cougar for my sons Christmas present. This will be his first jet and he is very excited. Put the order in with Dirk and all went very smooth with great communication. Plane arrived with no damage and was packed well. This one will be powerd by the one and only Kingtech K45.
This plane looks to be a great first jet for people new to turbines. The only down side is no instructions. If anyone has any questions I will do my best to help out. This plane does not cost much more then the Foam planes and its full composite with all panel lines. It also should be very easy to fly like other cougars I have flown.

Been cranking on the plane for a little over a week now and its about ready for maiden. This plane can easily be built in 2 weeks of doing a little in the evenings.
Used all power box wire because of its heat resistance. All custom made servo leads so I don't have connectors all over the place.
Used spektrum mini servos in tail and for nose steering.
Fuel tank is done using BVM Kevlar tank fittings kit. I don't take any chances with the fuel system. Because of the shape of the tank the clunk looks like it has a chance to suck onto the sides depending on orientation. So I cut an extra slot in the bottom of the clunk so it won't slow fuel flow down.
Also had my son trying to take old cockpit parts laying around and building himself a cockpit.

Hello bob hope all is well.
You have 2 options. DHL direct so you get it in about or 4 days or wait for a container to come over.
Shipping was about $750 DHL. Container would be cheaper but would need to wait.
I am very happy with the plane. Its a very good deal for a scale jet. They also did a custom scheme with no up charge.
Its ready for maiden. Might do it this weekend.

Chris,
Thanks for the info. I'm not quite ready to pull the trigger on anything yet, but I am saving for a new jet to add to the fleet and it *must* be grass field capable and easy to transport and assemble, so this might be the trick.
Things are going well for me, thanks! I hope the same for you and looking forward to seeing everybody in the '17 flying season!

What a great plane!! Today was maiden day and 8 flights later could not be happier! We had a very strong 90 degree crosswind with no gyro installed yet to make things fun. Plane flies great with the K45. Flies very scale. Uses a little more runway but then flies good. Perfect plane for pilots new to jets. Going to fly even better with a gyro.
Best part is this plane is just a little more then the foam jets.
