Got mine last week. This is without a doubt the best fit, finish and construction of any ARF I’ve ever seen! Assembly is a breeze, the hardware supplied is excellent, with one exception. The fuel clunks and fuel tank fittings are much too small for 200-300 size turbines. I replaced them with BVM HI Flow items. Dirk says they are aware of this problem and are in the process of correcting.
Well done T One! Can’t wait to fly it!

PS: Don’t even think about not ordering the wing bags! These wings and tail surfaces are huge. Plus this bag is awesome in the way everything fits.

Best of luck with your build David. She’s a beauty.

Got some flights today ... I continue to move the CG back. It's getting closer but still a little nose heavy. When I get it where I want it I'll post my numbers.
Slows down great for landing and can ride a wheelie on roll out now.
Very nice flying jet!

PS ... Go Tigers! Beat Bama!

Thanks! This was the first flight after modernizing the flaps to the current internal linkage design so it was a fairly mundane mission profile. I had one of the first production kits which came with external linkage similar to the T-1's...Dirk and the T-One Models team did a nice job supporting me to upgrade to the improved flap setup. And it is MUCH better!
I took the nose gear door off. Gear doors are for scale jets. No need for the added hassle on this type of jet.
I also trimmed the main gear strut covers to prevent them from getting hung up in the grass, especially when the struts compress. There was very little clearance on the original strut cover dimensions.

Yeah, I've been on the fence on the doors on mine...

Where did you end up with your CG? Are you using any crow?
Thanks

No crow used in the video. I have it programmed in but in the video it was calm winds and it slowed up very well even with no crow so I don't think it will be needed.
I'll measure my flap throw and post it.
I haven't flown it since the video but I plan to move it back a little more. I'll post final CG settings. Factory numbers were nose heavy for my taste. Eg I started with both Rx and the ECU battery in nose and have moved the ECU pack to mid canopy. Still pitches down on inverted 45 degree upline more than I would like.
I've got the PBS 230N turbine and I start the 7 minute timer when I'm ready to start takeoff roll and land with nearly half a tank left when I shut down turbine. Mixed throttle flying. So 9 minute flight is likely where I'll end up.

Good luck with the build & maiden flight Calvin. Dirk says my T3 Pink Monster is on the slow boat from China. He will send me tracking info when he gets it.
