Anyone know how to give me some information about Dan from Detail For Scale? Because I made a purchase with him about 15 days ago and he does not answer my emails anymore.

I hate to say this about Dan, but......., he is IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of, he takes FOR. EVER. to get stuff done and I've had to move on from using Dan. He's just too unreliable to depend on.
He is THE nicest, and one of the most knowledgeable dudes to speak with, when you get a hold of him.
It is really sad, because he has a lot of really cool stuff.
That said, this is a really common vacation time, so he could just be out of town.

Thank you for your response, I do not have much to do but wait, that's sad.
I'm depending on his pieces so I can finish setting up my plane, and I have no idea when I'll get them.

We will be closed for renovations from Sept 1st 2017 thru Nov. 15th 2017
Will will still be accepting orders for all of our lighting systems, chute systems or chutes ala carte, but will not be able to accept any fiberglass, custom parts or machining orders for the period listed above. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but are making some changes that will allow us to serve our customers better in the near future.
This will NOT effect any current pending orders. If you currently have an order pending from us, the order will still be filled as soon as possible.
Our phone number has also changed. The new number is: 208-530-2360
Phone calls will be returned as quickly as possible during the renovation period, but it may be a couple days before phone calls can be returned. E-mails will also be returned as soon as possible. If you place an order for a lighting system, chute or complete chute system, the orders will continue to be filled during the renovation period without delay.
If you have a special parts need, please feel free to contact us. We still may be able to fill the order depending on what the part might be. There are simply too many parts that we might be able to make during the renovation period to list here.

I reached him via email several weeks ago without any problem. That's not to discount any other's experiences, but I've always gotten what I ordered from him within a reasonable time frame and for a lot of what he does, there is no other source...

I sent him items for molds and in return I never received but only received two of the eight items in the deal. I gave up years ago trying to get the items owed. I sold the jet without the ordnance since I could never get what he owed me. If you cant honor your business deals you shouldn't be making them. People will still swear by him but thats my experience

I have ordered some turkey nozzles from Dan about 6 months ago and have yet to see them. I have emailed and phoned him with no luck. Steer clear of this guy, very dishonest and unethical.
