Dave,
Thanks! I will give it a try.
Appreciate the quick response.

If this does not solve the problem, PM me and I am more than happy to get on the phone with you this evening and provide any assistance.

Check to make sure you have the .bin file as well.....

yes just like Gary says.
so you must have all files in the apps directory

the digitech folder must be in the apps directory.
then the both lua scripts go also in the root of the apps directory.
after this go in applications.
click add
install the lua
go out of applications , and there you find the CTU setup.
make sure the ctu is online when setting the sounds.

Default Pls i need help

HI EVERYONE
I JUST GET MY CTU AND I SPEND ALL THE DAY YESTRDAY TRYING TO GET IT TO WORK WITH MY JETI DS-24 + REX7 AND KINGTECH K180 G (THE OLD ONE WITH XICOY) .

SO I DID :
1- UPDATED MY CTU TO V0.98
1- COPY THE FULL VERSION TO APPS FOLDER .
2- COPY THE CTU.BIN FILE TO DEVICE FOLDER.
3- i connect my servo cable from ECU in CTU to Data T/PC port in kingtech ECU.
4- i connect servo cable from receiver in CTU to my E1 port in my REX7 receiver and configure it to ex bus.
5- I CAN SEE CTU IN DEVICE EXPLORER
And when i turn the power on all light in CTU circle then stop and flash red on RX light + blinking blue light on ECU.

AFTER THAT IN THE DS-24 I ADD THE LUA APP AND THEN GO OFFER THE SETTING AND SAVE ALL( ECU TYPE: XICOY)
AND IN SENSORS/LOGGING SETUP I HAVE 19 ITEMS.
SO FAR SO GOOD

I TURN EVERYTHING ON AND GO TO THE CTU DASHBOARD I SEE ONLY (TRIM LOW) AND 0 IN ALL OTHER PARAMETERS LIKE EGT , PUMP , ECU V.
I START THE ENGINE BUT NOTHING CHANGE IN THE DASHBOARD . I DONT KNOW WAY OR WHAT I DID WRONG HERE?

Using all capital letters is considering shouting on the internet, I can easily "hear you" using just normal upper/lowercase....
(and as you know, we are looking into this on the Digitech facebook support group)

Hello Im having a problem with my ctu reading the turbine rpm. This is on a twin turbine jet, with the motors shut off the rpm jumps around very fast anywhere from 100,000 to 160,000. Im sure I just have something set wrong but cant figure it out. Im on a DC24 and im running .99 on the ctu. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Tim
Just updated to 1.0 and rpm is still jumping around.

No idea either but if your FB send a message via messenger to Sandor.....he normally answer pretty quick....have the engines been rotate so the little Magnets don’t face each other?

Tim,
if you connect the GSUs to the engines, do they also show "jumping RPM", or is it only the CTUs that does this ?
(and what engines are you using)
PS: I'm the guy who made the CTU.
Regards,
Carsten

DO NOT FLY THIS PLANE LIKE THIS.. The rpm sensors from each engine is sensing the other engine.. They must be rotated away from each other..

I asked a few post before.....if he had rotate the motors....no answer, but it’s the problem for sure, nothing to do with the CTU.....

Ah, ok. Then its not a "CTU problem", but rather an installation problem. The CTUs only shows what they are told from the ECU...
Look at the rotation as the other mentioned

Well I didnt see how there could be a problem considering the motors are not running. Ill remove a motor and see what happens.

Ok moved one of the motors 2 ft away and still getting the crazy rpm from both.

Upped the output voltage on the cb400 and did some more of the radio install and now the rpms are reading zero. Don't know what the problem was but it seems to be working normal now. Woot.

I had a problem similar to this a few years ago when I got my first Kingtech G2 turbine. I found my A123 LiFe flight batteries were allowing voltage to the ECU and GSU to drop near or below 6v when I stirred all the servos together. By changing to LiPo flight batteries with higher voltage it solved the problem. Possibly you had a lower voltage from the CB400 than what the newer electronics needed. Just a guess.

Yeah I think the cb400 came from the factory at 5.5 volts. Fairly new to Jeti so I'm slowly learning how to set them up.

Easy to change that power it up....look into the Device/cb400 it’s in there...I set mine to 8v

Yeah Thanks, I set it back to 5.5 and the rpm went nuts again then back to 8 volts and rpm is a zero. Good to know for sure what the problem was. I have the 2 motors set on a 3 position switch so I can start each one independently and control one with the slider and the other with the stick. Then select both and they are both on the stick. I was worried all this mixing was the problem. Back to work.
