the F22 is a special model for me and I will only have one that I have painted. So at the end of the year it all begins 😎

Anyone happen to have an online manual for this jet. Was just curious what the build is like. Also any higher resolution vids?
Thanks,
Tone

Good day

I have all the documentation for completing a manual. Sorry, been super busy with other projects.. I can tell you that its a super simple build with zero complications.

i have about 55 flights on it now almost all of them with the armament. The flight dynamics are incredible...

Ask any questions you need....

Jeff..

Jeff..
1. Do you mean without the ordinance?
2. Is there a wing tube?
3. PCRC website shows that the gear door servos come mounted. Is this the case
4. What does the soeedbrakrmechanusm look like? Does it include the servo?
5. Did you notice any interactions during flight?
6. Would you say it suitable for grass field?
Thanks,
Tone

4. What does the soeed brakrmechanusm look like? Does it include the servo? No, can send a photo if you provide email.
5. Did you notice any interactions during flight? Interactions?
6. Would you say it suitable for grass field? Absolutely, flew off grass at the Tiger Meet event in SC with no issues at all.

See red remarks..

Sorry, number 4 was supposed to say speed brake mechanism. But I sent you a pm with my email. By interactions I meant coupling in the control surfaces. I used to have a edf foamie yak 130 and it always felt like control coupling on a knife edge. From the pics I saw I am surprised that a twin 85's would fit with the fuel tank. Do the Yak 130 wings mount like the elevators on the T1?
Thanks,
Tone

Also meant to ask how many and what torque servos are required.
Thanks,

Yak 130:
CG 128mm
ail: +/- 50mm
ele: +/- 30mm
rud: +/- 30 mm
This is what the manufacturer recommended.

I can't find the manual anywhere. I had to ask the manufacturer in China for the above settings.
I crashed my yak on the maiden flight. The plane didn't fly well. I had a P180nx on the plane. After flying and trimming out for a whole 5 mins, I started getting ready for landing. I was at half throttle and making the final U turn into the wind for landing at about 35 degree bank and the plane just snap roll into the ground. A total lost (8K). The CG and the rates were fine, the plane just not flying well. This is the first plane that snap rolled on me at half throttle. The manual recommended a 140 to 160 but I had a 180. So half power of the 180 must be around 4 lbs more thrust than the 140.
Just be careful with this plane. I still have the ordinance set and i don't know what to do with.

Thanks a lot for your reply !
Do you think the crash was due to your turbine being too big or too powerfull ?
Do you recommend more or less than a 180 ?
Thanks.

wow I’m really really sorry to read about this. I haven’t maiden mine yet. What do you think went wrong? Any suggestions you may have before I maiden mine?? Any bad flying tendencies?

I just think that the plane was not flying well, too much wing loading. I would use a 180, you can always throttle it back. I recommend that when you turn in for final, use half flaps and never fly less than 3/4 power and don't land with too much fuel.

Thank you for the feedback and the explanation.
Would you be able to give the dimensions of the turbine ribs in the plane ?

Thank you so much for all your feed back. I had already installed a k160 in it. Hopefully I would be enough for it. I will keep everything you mentioned in mind when I fly it.

Hello Arod,

Yes, I am looking for the size to install the turbine.
An image is better than 1000 words, so here it is
If you can measure that for me it would be awesome !
