well, I know one that has made it out. It was labeled #3. The first two were for JOK and demo plane for pacificrcjets. I’ll let the owner address this. Maybe the PNP’s are taking longer, which one would expect

That’s hilarious! Maybe I should read my emails a little closer. Well, you’ll be the first one of the public to get one so I’d appreciate it if you’d let me know when yours shows up. Looks like it’s going to be a great plane. I did go ahead and order the K45 too and I appreciate your advice on this Jet.

So I have the new K45G3. Does it go in the rear or in the middle?

Exactly the same weight and dimensions of the K30, so tail mount. The original big can K45 would not fit in the tail, plus CG may be hard to achieve with the extra mass of that engine.

For those who were curious where Micro T1 #3 went.. See pictures below.

First I would like to thank Dirk (Pacific RC jet) and Danny (Aeropanda) for this beautiful little jet. We maiden the jet yesterday and it was a perfect. A few clicks up up elevator and one click of right aileron and this jet was flying nicely. Dirk has a few videos of take off and landing. On the maiden day I had 9 flights and enjoyed every single one. At the time of assembly (was not pnp) there was no manual. We now know the exact CG and the amounts of travel for each surface. From the pictures you can see the equipment installed, but here is the list:

Xicoy X45 with telemetry
MKS 93HV servos throughout. Nose door servo was installed at factory and was an HV servo
Jeti REX12 and R900 (backup) with Jeti remote turn on switch
Cortex Pro
Digitech 100ml UAT
JP gears and brake
Jeti Mspeed 450

The entire system runs on a single 2800Mah. Each flight consumes about 385Mah. The Micro T1 with 100ml UAT full weights at 9.9lbs.

According to Dirk, more have been delivered and others are on the way. The factory can not keep up with the orders.

Congratulations on the new jet.
This one seems “underpowered” by your usual standards

How do you like the JP gear / brakes compared to the Electrons?
How was your fuel consumption?

Best of luck with the new plane !

Yes true I agree.. the max speed I was able to achieve on this jets was 180mph... thoughts of an M70 has crossed my mind but I wanted an airframe for the X45. The JP gears seems pretty good for X45, but for M70 E30’s(electron) would be better...

With 100% throttle most of the flight I was able to get a good 5 min on a 1.0L tank with 25% left...

This jet flies so nice it’s relaxing... it’s definitely a keeper

Only 180 !
The way I fly I can probably get 10 minutes out of 1 liter!

The x45 is small enough to go in the tail and not need the pipe...save weight.
Did Danny have a reason for mounting it mid fuse with the pipe? Was it for CG?

I think what he’s asking is the new Kingtech 45 is the exact same weight as the KT 30 so, for CG’s sake, should it go in the back or stay in the middle for some other reason.

There is no back hatch (like most EDF) and unlike other T1’s the engine is accessed from under where the wing mounts. It’s a lot easier to install and access the engine where we have it.

I believe the K30, K45G3 and X45 are of approximately the same weight and size... Maybe due to loss of thrust through the pipe, the factory recommends the K30 to be installed through the back end.. CG is at 175mm from LE

Great info. Really appreciate it. There’s not a lot of information about this plane out there yet. Mines the T-45 schemed one. Ordered as a PNP on May 23 so I’m hoping within the next month

Looks like parts for the rear engine mount. These were missing from David’s kit as well.

thank you.

Are the pipe attachments the same as David's? I can't work out how those to plywood rails go in

The rails attach to the center bulkheads. I had to extend them in order to mount the X45.
