Cockpit
I also started making cockpit,
Seats and pilots will be 3d print, all shell has made by balsa, and instrument panels is a " Panel sandwich construction",
As the whole panel is too small (5x4cm) it is over my capability to make the panel with full keys, switches & screws on panel. I tried my best to find high res instrument images and printed two sets on graphic papers. I punch whole on first set of prints so that the second image on background (with a thin acrylic sheet in between) can build up instrument panels. All together glued on a 1mm play which also have match hols on the back. This background whole pass the light to the images to make it more real as I have a light on backplate box I made.
Some other part added on top with balsa, to make it more real too,
Still working on them :-))

Cockpit
Hello Guys,
Still working on cockpit, I've got little problem. I made the shell as wide as I could so I can slide in the shell. But the shell is not wide enough to accommodate pilot equipments, radio, throttle etc. The solution was make them all in a removable platform. So, once the main shell is slide in, removable platforms can placed and they are secure by magnets,
Still pilot and seats are not finished, But it will not stop us to fly it, in 1-2 weeks time _hopefully_

Maiden Flight
Hello every one,
One more time, thanks all people helping me on this project, without their kind support this could easily go wrong,
A great weather today, Dave did a test fly today. As a scratch built, there was so many question needed to be answered in maiden fly, so while my heart rate beets was exceeding 200 Dave took her to the sky as calm as flying a Cessna 182,
Total weight dry is 7900 grams, full fuel ready to take off about 9500 grams(2 littles of fuel), Dave took off at about over half throttle I think it was in about 15-20 meters. He suggested that nose is slightly heavy which is a quick fix by moving batteries. Also, the springs on gear door (small end part) is too weak, and I need to think about it. One of club member sent me 2-3 small video clips so below is the link:

Flies like a Super Sixty! Other than the guessed elevator neutral being on the safe side ‘up’ it needed very little trimming and the preset movement and expo was pretty good. Didn’t use full power at anytime during the whole flight.
Great achievement Javad

Congratulations Javad, you obviously had the right test pilot on the job, well done Dave.
Between Javad & Alasdair having success with their scratch builds it's inspiration for me
to get mine repaired & have another attempt.
