What is the maximum and minium temps for operating a turbine engine. Ive heard different amounts of degrees ranging from not flying below 65 degrees and not to fly in 100 degree weather. Is this true or not?

Hey Vin,
I get a little sluggish in that kind of heat too! I have flown in 105 F Muggy Mississippi weather. Can't talk about the cold, it gets below 50F and I don't go outside.

so basically what you guys are telling me is this. on hotter days is air in thin and the turbine react sluggishly and on colder days they work fine. Guess its like there bigger brothers "real turbines" on hot days they run sluggishly and on cold days it seems like they can run forever. Well that answers that.. thanks guys
