To answer the other questions asked....
The clear line hanging out the gear well is the propane fill line, propane tank sits below the canards attached to the front of the intakes. A Faux carbon plate will be attached to the front of the hatch opening as I have done in the rear which will have a holder for the propane fill festo. Tygon line hanging out the gear well is the tank overflow. Revolution whip antenna will be used along with Duralite ECU and RX packs and a Duralite 6V switched regulator. Also using Skymasters new wheel/brake set which use a new type of brake mechanism, see picture below....

After you stated to ignore the fact that the front section was incomplete IE the valves(wich by the way have no airlines), we could all assume that the brake lines were part of the aircraft that was incomplete. We were then steered to engine bay compartment?

Sean,
Daves brakes are a disk/caliper type setup, Skymasters resembles a drum brake...

No worries Todd, I gave that engine a hard look myself. I noticed there where no zip ties on the struts (something I know you do) but from the picture it's at best a guess as to whether there were lines on it as the brake system doesn't have the tell tale brass fitting 90 degrees to the wheel. Something I've never seen before.
There appears to be an extra hole behind a fuel cell in that bay, that's the only thing I could come up with besides the missing zip ties. Other than that, this is a typical Todd Whitkoff installation, clean, and nearly perfect.
Call me tonight (after 8 easter), I'm considering sending you some large business that I've lost interest in.

RE: Skymaster Gripen Almost there
I saw those brakes at the skymaster tent. They look neat. It started me thinking of other ideas for brakes that I may try in the future. I thought that with the brake shoes hinged at one area, that one may try to lock up due to the direction of the wheel. If the brakes were hinged at oposite sides they would free up when released. A cam can be used to push the brakes outward like the skymaster set, or even a smaller hub inside the shoes with an O ring similar to what we use now. Just different ideas!
On my previous post, all I was saying is that we were steered away from the brake valves and lead to the engine area. I just misunderstood.

In my 20 years as a medium duty fleet mechanic, all of the drum brakes that I have ever seen, had both shoes pivot on the same end. That way, you only need one actuator to move both shoes.

Yes but they would have heavy springs to pull them back to center when released. Direction shoes would self release and could be activated by an expandable O ring like what we currently use.

RE: Skymaster Gripen Almost there
The springs on the shoes have more to do with preventing premature wear (due to the shoes dragging against the drum when released) than to keep the shoes from locking up. It takes a lot of force to make a brake shoe lock up the drum. I have pulled apart brake systems in which some or all of the springs were broken, and the driver never noticed a difference.
But if you have a single brake shoe that wraps almost all of the way around the drum, then it has to be directional. I have a set of brakes using this design on 1/5 scale P-39 that weighs 30 pounds, and they are the best brakes I have ever owned.
