So you dont use expo to make it easyer to fly? Well there goes my formula. but if you use expo to make it easyer to fly, you confirm my formula. right?

Rocket boy:
I use expo because it improves the handling and harmony. It also allows bigger throws without getting touchy.
Don't worry my friend... One day, you will come out from the stone age like Icepilot did and see the light too
I'll keep an open spot for you in the expo club

Hei Christian,

Hei Thore,

Hi Roy Jimmy,
Yes i had another flame out at Rena last sunday, right after a slow fly by. I was throtteling up, and half way up it died on me. It was real hard to see the landing 400 mtr. down the runway( almost at the end in the south end). Perfect deadstick landing (ask Staale- he knows). NO EXPO= NO PROBLEM
I will now do the magnetic trick on the rpm sensor. Will try to go to Rena 22.10.05.
I boght Erik`s F-15 last weekend - turn key. So i want to fly that one as well. Just gonna install electric starter on it first, have talked to Kim at Simjet so i guess i will get it this week.
lets keep in touch regarding Rena in two weeks

Congratulations, Swissflyer - you will love it!
Will you be flying with the Wren 44? In that case, autostart or manual? Rudders or not?
Post some pictures when you have started to build, it's always interesting to see how other guys build the same plane!
Good luck! (and remember the expo..!)

Hi guys
I should be getting my SU27 and new MW44 with full auto start (Should be the first one off the production line from Wren) in about a week or 2, I still have to finish my SM F15. So any construction tips and pictures would be good to see.

Hi there ice pilot,
just finished my little beauty, it went together like clockwork! (with a little help from my friends here in the forum!)
Thought I'd add some pics of my installation for all you out there building or wondering whether to jump in or not!
Didn't need to cut to fit engine, fitted the mount first then slipped the motor in. Used a couple of fosters beer cans to line the
jet efflux area, then painted with ceramic heat proof paint (BVM).
Dry weight 6lb.12oz !! (even with rudders for air brakes). Fully fuelled......8lb,7oz!!!!!
Had to put both batteries behind cockpit to get C.G. right!! amazing!
Made the fod guard ages ago for the Savex F16, just a piece of car body filling alu mesh (see Savex F16 forum for template)
Had the engine purring a few minutes ago, runs faultlessly. Just need a suitable day to maiden her now.
cheers all,
Glyn..............
