Hi Jean-Pierre,
I installed also a Hitec 7955 for elevator, it's pretty too much, but will be ok.
My factory elevator mechanism is tight. I will not change it for the moment.

RE: Jetlegend T-45 Hawk
My buddy flew this model with a Wren 54 MkIII; it flew it very scale like.... it certainly wasn't overpowered
Then he put a P70 in it....it was night and day difference.
Mine had a Jet Central Falcon, it was a rocket ship in verticals, the overall horizontal speed wasn't much different than the P-70 powered model.

You can see mine with P-80, it's flying great.
This flight the camera man was somewhat drunk... and the front gear didn't lock up, but anyway, you can get the speed feeling.
The verticals with the P-80 are more than enough.

RE: Jetlegend T-45 Hawk
Keep it light and it will fly with a P60 from a paved runway.
Check out my landing gear doors modification. I will try with longer reach air cylinders so they will look more scale.
With these boosters, it only takes 40 - 60 psi to retract the gear.

Hi Guilifog,
I did a test flight with my P-80 turbine limited to 114000 RPM, that give me a 13 Lbs of thrust, the same like your p-60.
Well, it's flying, and very well I have to say.
After flying with P-80 I do feel like under power, but the hawk flying good enough.
I think that your hawk will fly better due to a smaller amd more light turbine.

RE: Jetlegend T-45 Hawk
thanks to the friend from israel for your test.
i hope that my t-45 can be fly whit the p-60.
i don´t would to find a high speed fly, only a
scale jet plane.
thanks.

Hi Lior,
The problem with the gear doors is the size of the gear cylinder.
It's just too small, and will not retract the gear with the door attached to it with normal pressure (100 ~ 110 Psi) during flight.
I'm starting to work on mine and I think to install a booster like mikedenilin.
Any way, I think that the most important thing is the elevator mod. I used RCISFUN (Many Thanks !!!) plans and it eliminate the huge slop in the elevator.
Now I'm flying the model almost every weekend and having a great fun…
Call me if you need more info.
