Not trying to argue, the 8411 would certainly do the job. Just making the point that the 4131 is a hefty 90 in / oz analog servo and nothing to sneeze at.

Trev. I am doing the legs now and under wing fairings.
Have you made any changes to the legs from the original posts you placed?

Paul,
That looks the business. My next one will have all the trimmings like yours.
Flew mine at Classic Jets Friday and as usual it a pleasure.
See you next Sunday at Chalgrove.

Had a great day today with the Hawk, Trev flew his black Hawk and test flew the T45 finished version.
Mine and Trevs flew perfectly as normal but unfortunately due to radio problems the White Hawk died. [sm=sad_smile.gif][sm=cry_smile.gif]
Very sad, a great looking model Dave.
Pics below, some by me and others thanks to Dave Wiltshire.

Slow but sure progress with mine. A bad chest infection delayed progress for a couple of weeks after we got back from Florida, but I'm now getting on with the painting.

Sorry, just had to post this.
Thanks to Dave for a great shot, i have zoomed in on the original and cut.
The detail on the shot is incredible, when you consider it was a fast moving target!
Great camera and photographer.

That is a first class shot.
Mine is nearly ready, and should be flying within the next week. I'll not fit the cockpit interior until I've done a fair amount of flight testing though, as the drive batteries will interfere with the seats and footwells; I want to get the CG sorted before carving up the cockpit fittings.
The main tasks to be done now are to re-install the retracts, radio and fan unit, and install the esc and flight pack. As I'm going to be short of time over the next month I'll delay adding the transfer set until after first flights, unless we get a few wet days when I might as well use the time to finish the model.
Realizing that I can't afford a JR 12X 2.4GHz this year along with enough receivers to convert my models, I've invested in a 2.4GHz Spektrum module and a couple of extra 9-channel receivers (plus 2 more from the Horizon Hobby free Rx offer) to convert my PCM-10X. That way I'll have the Rxs ready for when enough dosh materializes, if it ever does, to buy the 12X.

Very nice Paul! I'll be glad when I've reached that stage too (note to self - mustn't forget the dummy UHF aerial).
I've met a problem with the decal set, specifically the press-on ones. I presume that your "Royal Air Force" logos were press-on. The attached pic shows the snag.
The under-wing and fuselage serials come away from the backing sheet OK. However, the "Empire Test Pilots School" and "Astra" logos remain sticking to the backing sheet. I'm wondering if I've missed something. Maybe the latter two need water-soaking first?
I've emailed Ralf to ask him too.

Wow. Got an instant reply from Ralf this morning - thanks Ralf.
The problem is that the small lettering doesn't always adhere strongly to the transparent transfer film. The solution is first to rub down on the transparent transfer film with a credit card to make the letters stick harder. Then slowly and carefully peel back the backing paper, turning it back on itself through 180deg.
If the letter still won't release from the backing paper, go back and do the same thing more slowly and pressing down on the 180deg fold, until it does.
Pic shows this in progress.

Paul,
Were the under tail pieces in the kit or did you make them yourself? My kit didn't have those pieces in it[
]. Also, what adhesive are you using to attach them to the fuselage - RC Modellers Glue?
