Looks like exactly what you are after!

Another options may be the Discovery Jet, I think plans are still available:

I love the simpler jets built like real model airplanes.

Actually, Tony's Retojet is what got me thinking about a simple jet. I liked the idea, but not the looks. I started thinking about a low wing design, which led me to thinking about a BTE Reaction, but you can't buy the kits from Bruce any longer and the ARF doesn't look the same.
The Discovery jet may have possibilities. I'm going to delve deeper into that.
I've tried to find a distributor for the JayTee. But, no reply yet. It is very close to what I had in mind.
