One of them destroyed during shipment to a customer, and subsequently rebuilt. No follow on history for that one however.

And the last one went to the fellow representing Austria during the 2010 World Jet Master in Europe.

Snap forward to today's availability, and you have only one choice.

'Airworld' models of Germany, I believe, may still produce the jet? Its been completely redesigned in that the complexity that I faced is no longer the case. Instead of '14' air cylinders to doors, speed brakes, gear, etc. etc. The jet now comes with electric actuators for all of these systems.
You'll have to check with the reps on that.
Let me know if you get one as I would be delighted to ensure your success with it.

Manfred Eberhard represented Austria 2007 with the J35OE at Jet World Masters in Nothern Ireland .

thats a Photo of the JetPower Magazin 2nd issue 2007 since i read this the article the wish was : i want this plane! But the communication with P. Liebetrau was difficult and so i have to wait till the molds went to Austria/ Steiermark .
2012 i orderd bei the local shop in Styria and started building in march 2013.
If there are questions aubout the link in german language please ask.
This version was produced in Slovenia.
later for different reasens the local shop separated from rc jet sector and the molds went to Airworld/Germany, where they still are.

Manfred is still present in the austrian rcjet scene.
At the moment we (my son and I) build the smaller brother(1:9) with electric impeller he also constructet.

Hello H,

Do you still have the wonderful Draken from 2013?
I see that at that time, you were to enjoy the full electrical system upgrade as apposed to the pneumatic as originally offered.
I have a question. Do the European contest rules allow for 'no-pilot' during competition? Here it is ok to show the aircraft in static without a pilot in the seat, but then
'must' have a pilot in the cockpit during engine run, taxi, and flying segments of the competition. This is for realism points.
I wish you many years of success with the Draken, as they are very well built beginning with the lay-up process from the molds!
Take care,
Frank

Default Oe j 35

The electric landig gear is from a small company in austria, there are small servos for the disc break. Gear doors and the 4 speedbrakes work with actuators, but this things quit working frquently see pic (competition China 2019) below : left front door did not open and the gear get cought

the cockpit and the pilot should not rated in static diplay and flying IJMC Rules

the reason for the unique desing of this austrian Draken i will explain next time

Great shot! unfortunate though, I hope the external tanks took all the damage. Relatively easy fix.

Default Model/Original

On 1st of september we unload the model at airbase Hintestoisser where the biggest airshow of europe started the next two days. At the airbase is also a museum with the OstarichiDaken located.Colonel Doro Kowatsch who brought the firt Daken from Sweden to Austria and did the last drakenflihgt in november 2005 was very interesting about our model.
