Hi Carlos,
Looks great, its always amazing the million little details that go into a jet after covering. I was going to use those exact control horns but ended up with a different style for some reason........however I always liked those Dubro ones.
Included a few pics of my Turbinator and Reaction 54. Nothing left to do but go fly really. One thing is that if you can keep the tail light on the Turbinator it would sure help as mine required a ton of nose weight.
You have a really nice flying site, Carlos, with a nice long runway. We are losing our local flying field and believe me, am really, really mad about it. Anyway, keep us posted Carlos on your progress, am certainly interested.

Reaction 54. Should try to fly it first because of the much lighter wing loading.
Kingtech 85 on Reaction 54. Only ran it a few times. No trouble so far.

Alex, I'm very sorry to hear about the lost of the field, I will be mad too if that was to happen to me, especially because you now have jets that needs a long runway, nice fleet you got there.
I'm using the HD Dubro horns on the tail surfaces and the reinforced plastic ones on the wing since I only have 4 of those left.
I couldn't do a thing today, too many distractions all day long also, I run out of Ultracoat both yellow and black, more is on the way, like you said, there are a million things that needs to be done to a jet after it is covered and the best thing to do is to go slow to avoid mistakes.
Thinking ahead about the tail been heavy I build the nose gear mount from aircraft grade ply and I'm also installing a heavy HD nose retract, also planing to move servos and equipment forward as much as possible, it looks like I will be able to add a smoke system to it, I see room for a smoke thank between bulkhead 4 and 5 but won't add it till after the maiden flight.
Any ideas as to where are you going to be able to fly the jets? And when is the R54 maiden set for?
Work will resume next Tuesday, I got to get this jet done this time.

A bit more of the install done today, the install is the part of the build that takes the most time to complete since there are no guide lines to fallow, one has to select a spot for an item then all kinds of scenarios have to be run mentally to see if that chosen spot will work for that item, this is the reason why I'm tackling the install before the wing is cover.

Another good day of building and a another million little things done today.
I'm so much into finishing this jet that, I don't even feel like going out to the field to fly any of my airplanes.
The Monokote I order will be here tomorrow, the plan for next week is to install the smoke system, mount the retract valve, tanks and the receiver.

Got home early, I settled down but couldn't sleep so, I got to work, fixed this and that and started to install the retract valve, airlines and all that goes with it, finally I got tired and ready for bed, tomorrow or I should say later, I will continue working on that.

What a day, not much done today, I was having nose retract issues, I've been troubleshooting the problem for hours, I even walked away to take a brake, at the end it end up been the piston inside the cylinder was getting stuck, a little sanding fixed the problem, moving forward.

And of course, after figuring out the problem with the nose reteact, I had to complete the retract valve install, the brakes air tank is in, next is the brakes servo and push bottom valve and the smoke system.

When I was installing the brakes valve I had a hard time finding things, it got to the point where I had way too much stuff on the table so, the next step was to clear the table, now I'm ready for the smoke system.

All goals where accomplish for this week, many hours worked on the install.
For next week I plan to cover the left elev and rudd, hinge them and give them the proper travel adjustments, do some more details to the fuse, not sure if I'm going to have time to start covering the wing, we will see

Forgot to tell, the fuse is 13.5 lbs the way it is at the moment, once it's all done + the wing I'm estimating a 20 lbs dry weight, add fuel 100 oz. @ 5.3 lbs = 25.3 + smoke @ 2 lbs = 27.3 lbs at TO.
looking at this numbers makes me think, if I'm not happy with the performances, I still have a 27 lbs thrust engine I can mount on
