Default High torque low, servo width

Is there a high torque, low width servo I could use on my aileron?
I need it for my Y/A F-18 single. Thanks? I'm using a Futaba receiver.

Default servo

Have you looked at the volz wingmaxx servos? This is the servos that most people use in the Hotspots or Kangaroos in the vertical fins.

Default servo

What about a Hitec HS-5125MG "thin" digital super torque servo
at 6.0 Volts
speed 0.13/60degrees
torque 3.5kg.cm(48.60oz.in)

at 4.8v
speed 0.17sec/60degree
output torque 3kg.cm or 42.66 ounce.in

size 1.18 x 0.39 x 1.33 inches

Hope this helps

Brian

Airtronics makes a low profile/side mount metal gear servo that will work on the wings. I've used it on my TGA Interceptor many years ago and it help up for more than 200 flights. Please note that I used it in DF configuration.

If you get one, please do not forget that airtronics wire configuration is different from the rest of the manufacturers.

Regards

Ben

Greg,

How far outboard did you place your servo? Are you using the precut slot?

Default I'm using the precut holes.

I'm using the precut holes, and added the flaps.
Why?
