Default JR 2.4 Data Logger

Hi all. I wasn't sure if this was the best place to post this, but I was wondering about the Spectrum Data Logger on the JR 2.4g Rx. I have used the data port with a second battery (from a Duralite Gemini). Can the logger still be used from another channel, or does it need to be in the data port?

All the other channels are full, so I would have to connect it via a Y lead.

Cheers,

Greg

I believe it needs to be in the data port...

It needs to be plugged into the data port. You can still use your second battery plugged into that port, just use a Y-harness. Plug the Y-harness into the data port and then plug the data logger into one side of the Y and your battery into the other side!

Thanks Sean. So simple, I'll give it a go.

Greg,
I am doing what Sean said to do and it works fine.

When you bind the transmitter to the receiver though I would bind it using the battery that goes to the battery port on the reciever rather than the one to the "Y" on the data flight recorder.
