. Maidened her yesterday. She was a little nose heavy with the extra 50cc tank in the nose, but other than that she was spectacular and a little draggy with the ordinance on.
Gotta love those hornets!!

Pics to follow!

Great looking hornet! Ive been thinking of getting that 18 from Mike Lin in the tiger meet scheme. I bought an JL f-16 ace in the hole from him and it looks great. What are you powering it with?

Mike,
Are you trying to make fun of my yellow?? Hmm???
Remember, I'm a pilot and I need to see my planes! I just don't let them sit in the pits so I can feel like the cool guy at the field!!
Rich, my hornets are all underpowered with jetcat titans. [&o]

I can answer that for you. My builder custom built Ravill's bumble bee and used lighter glue (hysol) and more carbon fiber instead of heavy plywood. The paint used are thinner and stronger PPG based paint so everything adds up and shaves a few pounds off his bees. That's even after adding all the gear doors, air cylinders, air brake, etc.
