Another tea strainer...
Actually if these were Tea Strainers we'd have probably been in production by now.
In fact this is the third lot of mesh we have tried and works well for up to the faclon engine.

We have a stronger mesh for the eagle and rhino due to the mass airflow these engines draw, and this is the next prototype to be tested.

The final design will have clips to fit to the starter motor "legs", as well as a protective ring around the base to keep the unit from scratching the engine housing..

In that case you could have saved a lot of time by using a tea strainer as I did several years ago. Also Tam used the same thing before his new ones came out.

I just used my one from TamJets for the P-60 size which I had on the Super Bee. It fits fine. One wrap of electrical tape over the shrink tubing on the starter motor and it fit nice and snug with no need for an O-ring.
