Yes, very well. Just installed the new Jet Central Rabbit in my new Bobcat and it operates very nicely. I only put an initial three flights on it today, but here's what I have deduced so far....
1) Weighs in at exactly 2.5 pounds
2) Fuel consumption in an average bobcat flight was around 7 ounces per minute. Most of the flight was spent at less than full throttle, as the engine moves the Bobcat at a pretty good clip.
3) Internal glow plug works fine.
4) We timed acceleration with a stopwatch ... idle (40k) to full throttle (152k) in just a hair less than 3 seconds.
The Bobcat is a custom job BVM did for several of us. Looks great in the air.. extremely visible. A great flying plane.

Steve,
The Rabbit is rated at 19 lbs. and the retail price is $2695. As far as availability, I believe the first 25 produced were already sold.
Jim
edit: Changed thrust to 19 lbs.

Thanks for the question(s). . .
1. Thrust of the Rabbit is 19lbs of real thrust
2. Fuel consumption is as Keith Sievers reported is an average of 7 oz per minute
3. Fod screens are being developed for Jet Central as posted in this thread
4. Price of the Rabbit is $2,695.00 plus $30.00 UPS shipping anywhere in the US
5. Availability . . .please email me or your dealer of choice for the next available delivery date
6. Lifetime Warranty . . .
We are planned for 5 deliveries per week commencing Monday August 4, 2008.
I may be reached through RCU PM or [email protected] anytime.

RC Model Freak:
I am enroute back to my office in Florida from Liberty Bell Jet Rally. I will weigh the ancillary parts and post the exact weight Tuesday evening but not later than Wednesday morning. I have a customer owned Rabbit with me so weight will be exact.
Wren 44 and the Rabbit are two entirely different turbines. Our jf50 Super Bee is smaller than our new Rabbit but still larger than the 44. Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Eric Clapp

We flew The Merlin 90 at a airshow in Germany this weekend.
we did about 17-18 flights
i count 8 minutes full throttle with 2,5 liters of fuel, average flight time is about 10 minutes.
i dont count the startup time and taxi out,i just take off and start timer.
performance :
luckely there where 3 more boomerangs there.
it Flew circles around a Elan with a Wren SS,one Elan with a P-120SE could NOT outrun the Merlin 90 by any chance.
landing speed was even more impressive , since the hole model lands at half the speed then the P-120SE.
and weighs less.
acceleration is really good , and there is no noticeable delay when you fly it.
i did some low speed aerobatics , where you need fast acceleration.
i just was amased how fast it got to full power.
the sound i can not even discribe , it is really special.
ps: i flew also the same Elan with a P-120SE , and you can feel the differance in performance since the weight is higher.

For anyone interested, here is a pic of the latest pre-production testinng FOD screen.
This one meets our requirements for how it affects the engine when fitted.

Rob

Another tea strainer...
Another tea strainer...
In fact this is the third lot of mesh we have tried and works well for up to the faclon engine.
We have a stronger mesh for the eagle and rhino due to the mass airflow these engines draw, and this is the next prototype to be tested.
The final design will have clips to fit to the starter motor "legs", as well as a protective ring around the base to keep the unit from scratching the engine housing..
